Nice people (to neighboring countries’ citizens). A bit dusty and infrastructure requires quite a renovation.
Mountains are great. Prices seems to be elevated. 2 days is enough for key sightseeing places in the city. The rest is outside.

Multi faced city.
Multi faced city. Great legacy of Soviet architecture, lots of parks and trees in the center of the city. Great public transportation and Yandex is very convenient too. The bazaar is a wonderful place to explore and get all you need. Excellent museums. This city could be disconcerting at first if you are not familiar with cities of post soviet republics but it has its own qualities and charms. Excellent restaurants.

There is no old town there, only from the soviet era.
There is no old town there, only from the soviet era. As a tourist you cant get a SIM card because you need to get your permit approved which takes?? It's a new law and it affects navigation because ypu can't Google. Nor can you order a taxi, it's the whole country. The attractive places mentioned is actually mostly in Ala Archa National Park. This is a fantastic place if you are willing to trek a bit. The nature is breathtaking.

I liked the clean and green environment.
I liked the clean and green environment. I visited different places inside the city. I also walked to few places. The people are nice. Although nobody understands English. You need the translator on your phone to communicate. The prices are not high as compared to other places in the world. I like the peaceful surroundings. There is no pollution, noise, etc.

It was my first visit to the city, and I wasn't sure what to expect. While the city's infrastructure was degraded in many areas, the public spaces and buildings were pretty large and impressive. Heavy traffic was a big problem getting around, and it was challenging to walk in the heat. The people were really kind, and I generally felt safe. While the streets were mostly empty during the day, the city sprang to life at night. The food and high end restaurants were really good, and I didn't experience any gastro-intestinal issues during my week-long stay. I found the history museum really nice and informative about a country and a history, with which I was not very familiar. My favorite part of my trip, though, was going out of Bishkek into the nearby mountains, about an hour outside the city. It was almost 10C cooler and the nature appeared mostly undisturbed and clean. I was there only for a few hours, but I could imagine that the hiking would be fantastic.

Interesting city.
Interesting city. There are some good restaurants and parks. A lot of history if you have time to find it. Things are much cheaper than than I had imagined. I went to Cafe Faiza, really good food. I wouldn't recommend Beef Burger, just down the street from Inter Hotel. The burger was undercooked and flavorless. The State History Museum is a short walk away, along with Ala Too Square. I walked around quite a bit. It's easy to get a taxi also.

My mom and I used to live in Bishkek a long time ago and have returned for a visit here. For the last night of our trip, I wanted us to stay in a nice place that would leave us with a good memory of Bishkek. The Plaza Hotel delivered that. The hotel is very sophisticated, clean and offers great amenities. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which had an excellent selection of food and a beautiful terrace where you could enjoy your meal. The front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent.
It is located in the city center, 5 minutes from a big shopping center which has groceries, clothes, electronics, entertainment for kids, cinema and places to eat.
The hotel looks good, the mattresses are nice. Air conditioning is something I really appreciated in the summer heat in Bishkek. Nice modern smart TV in the room where you can just watch youtube or anything else.
A very comfortable place to stay. I arrived late at night and was warmly welcomed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options are sufficient, without being overwhelming. From the hotel I was able to walk to many of the attractions in central Bishkek.

+Staff is fluent in multiple languages and really friendly
+Good brekfast
+Decent Wifi connection
