It was a nice hotel. The staff were very nice to me and could speak english. My Russian was bad but i stayed there for 1 month and everything was fine.
Also great food amd there is a microwave if you want to reheat your meals.

This hotel was a not good. The room was tiny, outdated.The staff was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. The Wi-Fi barely worked. And they charged extra for pillows! Avoid this place.

I really enjoyed Bishkek. It is a small city though, so you might want to plan some trips outside the city. I went up to Kashka Suu to see the mountains, and took a two day trip into Almaty, Kazakhstan. I would suggest a day seeing the sights, a day at the Osh Bazaar, and a couple of trips outside the city. To get to the town from the airport, take the local marshrutka, rather than a taxi. If, you can, download Yandex for taxis, they are cheap and reliable. I hardly met any people who spoke English. so learning a few phrases of Russian will go a long way.

Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, is a vibrant and intriguing destination blending Soviet-era charm with Central Asian culture. It is often described as the gateway to the stunning landscapes of Kyrgyzstan, with snow-capped mountains visible from almost anywhere in the city.
It is easy to get around and we used YandexGo for cabs. The network is well established.
Architecture: Bishkek's architecture showcases a mix of Soviet-style buildings, modern developments, and traditional Kyrgyz elements. It's an interesting juxtaposition that reflects its history and evolving identity.
Food and Dining: The city's culinary scene is rich with local dishes like lagman (noodles with meat and vegetables), plov (rice pilaf), and manti (dumplings). Many international cuisines are also represented in trendy cafes and restaurants.
We tried the authentic food from Navat, and 12 Kamnhob and other eateries to enjoy the Beshmermak,, Byzhy, Kimlie, Samvy, Mulled wine, etc. They serve horse meat and milk in their cuisine.
We were in the winter and experienced the snowing and mountain stay, it was really superb experience. We reached on the Ak Tam mountain and stayed there.
Cultural and Historical Sites: Ala-Too Square: The heart of Bishkek, featuring monuments, fountains, and the changing of the guard ceremony.
Osh Bazaar: A bustling market offering a variety of goods, from spices to traditional Kyrgyz crafts.

Nice snow capped mountain view from the city. There are many scenic place to visit. For the nature lovers it is a fantastic place. But the traffic situation is very bad. Very difficult to communicate if someone don't know local language, since most of the people don't understand and speak English. Also very difficult to get vegetarian food. Most of the food are meat based.

Multi faced city.
Multi faced city. Great legacy of Soviet architecture, lots of parks and trees in the center of the city. Great public transportation and Yandex is very convenient too. The bazaar is a wonderful place to explore and get all you need. Excellent museums. This city could be disconcerting at first if you are not familiar with cities of post soviet republics but it has its own qualities and charms. Excellent restaurants.

There is no old town there, only from the soviet era.
There is no old town there, only from the soviet era. As a tourist you cant get a SIM card because you need to get your permit approved which takes?? It's a new law and it affects navigation because ypu can't Google. Nor can you order a taxi, it's the whole country. The attractive places mentioned is actually mostly in Ala Archa National Park. This is a fantastic place if you are willing to trek a bit. The nature is breathtaking.

Everything is as always at the highest level! In the restaurant, they can always cook something especially tasty and healthy, and in the SPA, the magnificent master Baitik will restore the body after a long flight or intense training. Very pleased with the compliments from the Hotel. In ORION there is always a feeling that I am at home and I am the most special guest. If you are looking for a special experience, you should definitely visit the ORION Hotel. Really one of the best Hotel in the world!!!
10/10! Cute little house with private rooms and communal kitchen. The room was very clean and cozy, it even had a small light (an important detail that is missing in so many hotels!). The bathroom was also good, the kitchen has everything you need.

This hostel is the best place to stay in Bishkek. It is very new, clean, modern and comfortable. The owners design all the spaces with much love to details. It is just beautiful there♥️ They take their time to inform travellers about possibilities what to do in the City and in Kyrgyzstan in general. I spent there 3 nights and would recommend this place to everybody.
