The staff went above and beyond to accommodate and help me. They helped me locate a lost luggage, and helped bridge the language barrier for that. You are about 200M from Noboribetsu station. Very convenient. Friendly staff, great manners and helpful.

The meals are prepared with super high-quality ingredients, and had a variety of seafood including very rare ones like fugu. Breakfast was awesome! It involves a set and a small buffet. The buffet had both Japanese and continental breakfast variations. It was very quiet and peaceful everywhere in the hotel, unlike other onsen ryokan I stayed which can be crowded sometimes. The onsen was absolutely awesome! The public onsen has very nice amenities and are well-maintained.

Great location in the heart of Noboribetsu Onsen town. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the check-in process was easy. There is a delicious pastry restaurant on the first floor. The hotel is conveniently located between two bus stops and is just a 10-minute walk to the main bus station. The bedroom was very clean, equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including a mini fridge in the room. Totally recommended, and we will definitely be back!

Pretty close to all noboribetsu attractions, had an entrance to the shared baths (public), great structure, and the food buffet was GREAT. My family absolutely loved it.

Stayed only one day, it was enough for onsen and Hell Valley, but we didn't get to do everything.
The winter is amazing! It's very cold but rewarding. (Especially when it snowed.)
Would have stayed another day so we get to visit the bear park and Lake Toya.
The Hell Valley has a very sulfuric smell, it doesn't smell too nice, but it's bearable.

Noboribetsu is a small tourist oriented town surrounded by lush mountains and walking distance away from the source of hot spring water that brings to you the Japanese Onsen experience. Mind the occasional smell of sulfur.
Getting there via train and bus is not difficult but can be crowded during peak travel seasons. Food quality was always excellent and the hotel’s buffet covered local and western appetites. Noboribetsu Date Historic Village is about 14 minutes away and is worth visiting. A fun learning experience for the whole family.

Shikotu Toya National Park is wonderful, so much to see and explore. The onsen at the Grand hotel were amazing, very relaxing. I would have liked to visit the Ainu museum at Shiroai, but we didn't have time. The Cultural exchange centre near Noboribetsu Station was very interesting though, and they had excellent ice creams.

The hot baths, buffet breakfast with many local delicacies and location, being just beside the Hell Valley is worth experiencing. However, pricing may be a bit steep for the size of the room we stayed.

The hotel is huge and rooms are spacious and well-designed. We enjoyed the experience and food selections, as well as the onsen. The hotel is located close to Jigokudani and the shopping street. Most of all, transport to the hotel from Sapporo was free and very convenient.
Everything was perfect for us, from the delicious breakfast and dinner with king crab legs to the spacious spa and onsen with a stunning view. The hotel is also within walking distance of tourist attractions.
Spacious room and close to main attractions in Noboribetsu, surrounded by nature and walking tracks and l loved the grand bath or onsen, facing Hells Valley and many pools to choose from.
