Great location next to the JR station, very easy Shinkansen access. Quiet rooms with a great view of the station. Excellent room layout with separate shower, toilet, and sink, and good beds. The connected restaurant was nice!

Its location was literally across the JR Kyoto Station. The lobby and western restaurant offerred a taste of early 20th century grandeur with crystal chandeliers and thick carpeting. Staff were friendly and helpful as can be expected anywhere across Japan; but with more business like attitude. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and good sized. Breakfast spread was sizeable and offerred good variation of both Japanese and Western food items.
