It was a walk away from Tennoji Station, so convenient! There was a covered underground walkway connection as well but so easy to just walk across. Also besides the Albeno shopping area so its very convenient! The hotel was old but well maintained. The room was cosy, comfortable and big for superior room type.

We reserved the room in Popway Residence for 3 nights, but ended up extending it for 10 days.
Room is not so big but the creative furniture arrangement allows to keep it not congested. There are special sliding shelves for big suitcases under the bed. Place has its own small kitchen and staff can provide some cooking equipments.
We had very pleasant experience with the staff in this hotel. They were always helpful and supportive.
In overal, we felt like we were staying in our private apartment in the heart of Tennoji. The twin room has big balcony with perfect views on Haruka building. We used to enjoy night drink with the great view from there. And one more crucial factor, they kept really decent price compared to equivalent properties.

I visited Japan for work 2 weeks and stayed at APA Hotel 3 places ; APA Hotel Ueno Ekimae, APA Hotel Sakai Ekimae, and APA Hotel Shinsaibashi. I could say that the Sakai Ekimae is the best. Staffs were very friendly and service mind. Room and hallway was neat and clean. (In the opposite, APA Hotel Shinsaibashi's room was dirty, especially bathroom. It wasn't cleaned well, I saw a lot of black strains at sink, bathtub, wall.)
