Very continently located, right next to the beach. Rooms were very nice and all the facilities were amazing! Easy surfboard rentals for both beginner and advanced options, plus the food next door was really good and reasonably priced. Would 10/10 recommend for a surf or beach trip and will definitely be returning in my next surf trip to Japan, hopefully soon!

This area by the coast is dedicated to surfing fun. Some of the beaches have been redone nicely in anticipation of the olympic surfing contests. The areas dedicated to fishing aren't as nice, but there are a lot of little spots. The surfing culture here shows up. It isn't odd to find foreigners here. The restaurants serve good hearty portions. There is a bit of a laid back feel to the area.
