Great location in Ichinomiya, close to the ocean and there is a convenience store within easy walking distance. The house has a kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook your own meals. There is a spa to relax and the area is very quiet. There is also a sauna, but we did not use it, we were there in summer. We were very happy there were bikes at the house for us to use and we enjoyed riding along the beach, that was great. The fridge is big and it has an ice making machine. Sendo supermarket is a short drive away and we really liked it. There parking at the house, so you can park a car no problem.

This area by the coast is dedicated to surfing fun. Some of the beaches have been redone nicely in anticipation of the olympic surfing contests. The areas dedicated to fishing aren't as nice, but there are a lot of little spots. The surfing culture here shows up. It isn't odd to find foreigners here. The restaurants serve good hearty portions. There is a bit of a laid back feel to the area.

Close to the beach, will be home to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic surfing competitions. Very chill, somewhat rural area with lots of parking and space for surfers. A little windy out here!
Recommend staying at Coff Ichinomiya, and swinging by the Hula Cafe for a surfer stop and reasonable snack / light lunch.
