The lobby was very spacious and calm without the hustle and bustle you usually get at hotel lobbies. The atmosphere is slightly reminiscent of Japan 30 years ago or so but with a modern feeling. There was no wait for elevators no matter what time of the day you used them - this isn't always the case in hotels. House keeping staff were very welcoming, breakfast buffet was excellent in range of options, and with plenty of space between tables making the experience more relaxing even when it was quite busy. There is a convenience store within the hotel which is very handy. The room was very comfortable, good responsive a/c, quiet and clean with free water and tea/coffee facilities.
Chitose Station Hotel is directly connected to JR Chitose Station, just a 7-minute train ride from Shin-Chitose Airport. It provides a free Japanese and Western breakfast buffet every morning.
