People are so friendly, the hotel room and common areas are so clean. I received tremendous help from the reception team for the choice of transportation, hiking trails and place to eat or visit. I tried the yoga class, Laura is a superb yoga instructor, I would recommend her yoga stretching class and her massage too. The spa and massage is very good. As a solo female traveler I will rank this top top of the list!

The Ambience is Cozy. The hospitality is great by staff. The afternoon treats was nice, while the dinner was much more than we expected. The location is just 5 minutes drive to Lake Carezza, which makes it super easy to visit anytime. The view it self from the hotel is relaxing.

Property was quite spacious, well equipped and clean. Only two bathrooms might be insufficient for 8-10 people but it was known from before as properly mentioned in the description. The location within the village of Vigo is very good - up to 5 minutes walk from centre, buss stop for the valley and Bolzano and a large supermarket.
Host (we never met in person) was helpful, although a bit slow in answering.
The mountain need no recommendation of course, but is is probably worth saying that Vigo appears to be quite a good location for trips in various directions - using bus or car for 15-25 minutes before the hiking.
We did no biking but there are very good opportunities for this as well.

Local ski area is great. Several great ski area's at short distance.
Sella Ronda, Pozza di Fassa, San Pellegrino, Ciampedie, Carezza, to name a few.
Vigo has some great restaurants as well, catering for everyone's needs and wishes.

Vigo is typical small mountain town in Fassa Valey.
Vigo is typical small mountain town in Fassa Valey. Few restaurants with really good atmosphere, several hotels and B&Bs. Together with neighbouring town Pozza offers perfect conditions for skiing and summer activities.
The very best of the place is Hotel Carpe Diem, offering all, what a traveller needs.

Very conveniently located along the Fassa valley: from there you can go skiing either on the closes slopes in Vigo itself, and also in Pozza, or reach either Campitello/Canazei (Sellaronda tour) or Latemar within 10-15 mins (car or shuttle).

Vigo is charming place to stay. You can find everthing, what can be needed during your visit - grocery, beautiful bakery, shops with ski equipment, restaurants - our favourite "La Grotta"... There is a place where the nature harmoninously connects with people.

Great location to ski & easy to get to the local slopes above the village. If you go further afield getting back from Canaze on the bus in the evening was very slow because of the departing day traffic. So I would advise getting earlier start back before the exodus at 4:30pm.

Very nicely decorated and spacious.
Parking on site and even if breakfast is not provided, there are some tea bags or coffee to prepare and some snacks. Also the hotel next door has a restaurant where breakfast or dinner are possible after a reservation.
Nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Very conveniently located next to blue, red and black slopes. Rooms are of good size and modern. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fabulous.
The staff is very nice and the location is near to the bus station. The one who rely on public transport recommended to book this hotel. The scenery around the place also beautiful.
