What a find this was! Beautiful setting looking over the mountains and a beautifully kept property. We received a warm welcome from a young lady on reception who was trying to learn English and directed to very comfortable bedrooms with stunning views. Great bathroom and large powerful shower.

Welcomed into dining room by the very friendly Samuel. We had gone for a two night stay here so had opted for the H/B option and what a good decision that was. Four course meal and all courses were excellent. Presentation was outstanding. Breakfast was another treat with freshly squeezed orange juice and really good scrambled egg.
Due to a ‘snow day ‘ we cancelled plans to do a few passes and had a relaxing day in the spa instead. Again beautiful views and a lovely inside/outside swimming pool. A nice experience in the snow.

The hotel was good value for money especially at short notice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was delicious. I was allowed to park my motorcycle in a secure garage so that was very good.. The hotel was close to the shops and a small supermarket, so I was able to buy some provisions.

The location is fantastic with the overall Funes valley view. It’s a loft for our room with 4 people to live. Very nice balcony view. Compared with the price,it’s amazing. We stayed there for 2 nights. You can even walk to the several scenic spots.Parking is just outside of the house under a shed.

Property was quite spacious, well equipped and clean. Only two bathrooms might be insufficient for 8-10 people but it was known from before as properly mentioned in the description. The location within the village of Vigo is very good - up to 5 minutes walk from centre, buss stop for the valley and Bolzano and a large supermarket.
Host (we never met in person) was helpful, although a bit slow in answering.
The mountain need no recommendation of course, but is is probably worth saying that Vigo appears to be quite a good location for trips in various directions - using bus or car for 15-25 minutes before the hiking.
We did no biking but there are very good opportunities for this as well.

Vigo has some great restaurants as well, catering for everyone's needs and wishes.

Vigo is typical small mountain town in Fassa Valey. Few restaurants with really good atmosphere, several hotels and B&Bs. Together with neighbouring town Pozza offers perfect conditions for skiing and summer activities.
The very best of the place is Hotel Carpe Diem, offering all, what a traveller needs.

Very conveniently located along the Fassa valley: from there you can go skiing either on the closes slopes in Vigo itself, and also in Pozza, or reach either Campitello/Canazei (Sellaronda tour) or Latemar within 10-15 mins (car or shuttle).

Vigo is charming place to stay. You can find everthing, what can be needed during your visit - grocery, beautiful bakery, shops with ski equipment, restaurants - our favourite "La Grotta"... There is a place where the nature harmoninously connects with people.

Great location to ski & easy to get to the local slopes above the village. If you go further afield getting back from Canaze on the bus in the evening was very slow because of the departing day traffic. So I would advise getting earlier start back before the exodus at 4:30pm.
This is a nice family run hotel, the staff is very nice. We have booked the junior sweet, the size was perfect. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. You get three options to choose for dinner the night before. There is a market close by. We didn't use the closest ski slopes and there is a 8-10 minutes drive to get to the closest one connected to dolomiti superski area. Ski bus stop is 50 m from the hotel.
The staff is very nice and the location is near to the bus station. The one who rely on public transport recommended to book this hotel. The scenery around the place also beautiful.
The hotel is well-located, close to restaurants and shops. I loved the little tea corner they had and the terrace in front of the room. It was a nice and cosy stay.
