There is free parking on-site which is important for whoever comes with a car. Definitely recommend.

Bit of a steep walk down to the port but there is a lift that takes you down to the swimming areas,then a short walk along to the ferries.

It is great if you have a means of transport to go to Amalfi. If not, it is better to stay in Sorrento to catch the bus in the first stop. Otherwise the bus doesn't even stop in Sant'Agnello, when it is full.

Sant'Agnello is located next to Sorrento city. We needed apx 20 minutes of walking to reach Sorrento and 3-4 when driving. We didnt spend a lot of time to Sant'Agnello but a must say that the food there is very good!

Very handy for trains and buses to Sorrento (minutes away), as well as for trains to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. It is much quieter, less crowded and less touristy than nearby Sorrento. There are a small number of very good restaurants, but does lack the variety of restaurants, shops and nightlife that nearby Sorrento offers. However, trains between Sant' Agnello and Sorrento run until 10pm at night and are also only about a 30 minute walk apart.

Sant'Agnello has a small town centre which is attractive, and there is a regular train service to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples (although very crowded) which calls at the small station. There is also a regular local bus service into Sorrento for those unable to make the 30 minute walk.

The staff at the hotel are excellent. They are so knowledgeable and charming and there is nothing they won’t try to do for you. The three ladies on reception were so helpful. The hotel is beautiful. We had a lovely terraced room with a sea view. The location of the hotel was perfect. It’s just outside Sorrento so when it’s busy in the centre it’s lovely to return to the haven of your beautiful hotel. Only downside to location is there’s not much to walk to in the area. However they have a shuttle bus that takes you into town.
When we arrived we were greeted by Martine (receptionist) who greeted us and we checked into the hotel and she told us everything we needed to know about the hotel and then we went to our room which was amazing and recently refurbished in marble and loads of space, great bathroom with rain shower walk in and cleaned everyday. In the morning we asked the receptionist about the local amenities and she gave us a map and told us the times of the trains to Sorrento.
Absolutely everything was 10/10. The staff are so wonderful and accommodating, all the recommendations and the boat trip that Gabrielle booked for us were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious, so many options. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel Villa Garden made our stay in Sorrento unforgettable and we will most definitely be back next year. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to stay in Sorrento, it was wonderful. See you soon!
Lovely welcome from friendly and obliging staff. The hotel feels like someone's grand home and has an intimate, boutique feel. Lovely pool area with lots of loungers where you can order drinks and snacks. Spacious room, well-equipped with kettle and minibar. Location in a leafy quiet part of Sorrento, within walking distance of restaurants and terraces overlooking the sea.
The place is great! Small family run Hotel. . Modern rooms, comfortable, spotless Clean with attention to detail. Lovely breakfast. Bus station just outside takes you to the port where all the ferries depart. Francesco the host very welcoming and helpful. Value for money Stay in Sorrento.
