The hotel was very nice, with gardens and places to sit in the afternoons.

the hotel is charming and quirky in a brilliant position, right on the edge of the main piazza with a view of the cathedral. there are lovely cafes and restaurants steps away, along with a brilliant gelato shop for the passegiata in the evening, and a short stroll to the markets. The staff were very helpful, and it has been recently renovated in a smart, yet simple manner. our room was very spacious. This 200 year old hotel retains its faded grandeur as it was once a stop of The Grand Tour.

The hotel was a great experience, staff very nice and helpful, rooms were ready very early for us, rooms were next to each other, everything was very clean, modern, everything was working great, we found enough choices to have light dinners, even though they didn't have a real restaurant. The underground parking was very good and useful. The minibar was included in the room cost and it was refilled everyday with water and sodas.
Hotel Villa Romeo is just a 2-minute walk from Catania Train Station and the bus stop to visit Mount Etna.

Good location, good breakfast, nice arrangement in the hotel. All the people from the reception were very kindly. My flight was cancelled because of the eruption of Etna, and the company WizzAir reported our flight with a delay of.... 5 days! In these special conditions, Francesco and Virginia were our super hosts, all the time ready to help and to answer to all our questions and warnings. Hugs for them!
