Everything was superb and the view from the room was breathtaking.. There are 4-5 types of saunas/baths, outdoor and indoor pool, relax room and more. Dinner time is adjusted perfectly so that you don't have to rush from your hikes. From the young lady at the reception to the lady and man who were with us during dinner, everyone was super helpful and informative. This was our honeymoon location and everything was perfect.

San Cassiano is very centrally located for exploring and hiking the Dolomites. Short drives over stunningly beautiful passes to Val Gardena and Cortina de Ampezzo, Corvara is 10 minutes with no pass to go over.
Purchased a lift ticket for all of the lifts in the San Cassiano area and had great hikes up on the mountains where the views are spectacular.
San Cassiano is not large, but has a good grocery store within walking distance of the Lagacio and a cute downtown area.

typical, well organized alpine town.
typical, well organized alpine town. Perfect for a ski holiday in the winter or active trekking holiday in the off-ski season.
Tip: since it was the last weekend of the season, many places are already closed (restaurants and shops), so the options are limited, but we knew that. On the other hand, there is no crowd, so its perfect for a stress-free time.

San Cassiano is the best ski area in the Sella Ronda area - sunny all day, great pistes, empty lifts. If you want to go to Marmolada, you can go directly from San Cassiano to Arabba (without Corvara - saving time). Another nearby area I recommend is Alta Badia and Colfosco (no super ski pass required). If you go to Sella Ronda, I recommend visiting Pass Pordoi (2950m) - comparable views as from Marmolada, no queues, few people.

The Alta Badia area is in my opinion the most stunning place i have ever skied. It is not good for experts but if you are like me and been skiing for 40 years then perfectly prepared long blue runs are ideal .The Hidden Valley run is a must do - the only problem there is having to stop and take your gloves off every couple of minutes to take a photo as every corner gives you a new stunning view.

A great place for skiing with a family.
A great place for skiing with a family. An incredible selection of all types of slopes and minimal queues at the lifts. We appreciated the ski bus from the apartment to the slopes. I only missed an option for night skiing.

A perfect stay for our trip to Dolomites! I can’t fault anything, the room was very comfortable and clean with daily room cleaning provided. The breakfast was amazing with a surprisingly good selection of foods. The views from the room and balcony are incredible! Lastly but most importantly, the host was amazing! Very friendly and helpful! I had some car troubles during my stay and she was incredibly helpful with getting this sorted. Thanks for our lovely stay ☺️
Lovely guesthouse! Rooms are spaciousness and very clean with large windows and panoramic views of mountains. Breakfast buffet had great variety and the pastries changed daily. Dinner was a good value and had a delicious buffet with lots of different dishes. Location is peaceful and Beautiful, up a hill so no highway traffic noise compared to other hotels on highway. Fun kids room.
Great place to stay in Dolomites. It is traditional Alpine hotel at 1700m above sea level surrounded by alpine passes well above 2000m.
It was shoulder season so the front desk staff was there only until 5PM. But they called us and explained how to get in so there was no problem arriving later in the evening.
Excellent , convenient location. All staff are really very helpful. The bar is really lovely , a great asset , and the barman Davida very helpful.
The hotel is spotlessly clean , possibly the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed at . Breakfast was delicious.
Fabulous hotel. Wonderful service. Family friendly. Highly efficient shuttle to the slopes and back. The food is just magnificent. The pools and wellness areas is amazing. I cannot recommend it enough. We will be back
