All the staff were very kind. We took a taxi, so at check-in they advised us on how to get back and arranged a car for us. We could see the valley from our room and the breakfast was delicious! thank you very much.

We arrived early and there was no-one at reception, but we left the car out front and went for a stroll around the old town of Pienza. The hotel has underground parking, which is great-there is a charge for it though.
Staff were polite and professional. There was a gift in the room for our dog Daisy and the place was spotless. The room was a good size and very comfy . The open fire in reception was warm and welcoming. The location, just opposite the gates to Pienza did not give the amazing views you would find within the walls, but I imagine that, in high season, it would be lovely to get away from the crowds. The breakfast was good and the dinner in the restaurant was tasty!
Located in Pienza, 40 km from Mount Amiata, RELAIS VAL D'ORCIA provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.
Amazing location, very large and comfortable room.

The room. The entire environment. The breakfast time.
The Corsignano is in Pienza and offers breathtaking views of the Orcia Valley. This family-run hotel offers a terrace with hot tub, and a typical Tuscan restaurant.
Location. Great room. Facilities. Value for the money.

Our stay at Agriturismo Palazzi del Papa was quite lovely.
Our stay at Agriturismo Palazzi del Papa was quite lovely. It is located in an area easily driveable to Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano, in Val d"Orcia, a beautiful Tuscan area. These small hilltop medieval towns offer a glimpse back in time and are surrounded by rolling, open land. a car is needed, but the drives are short from this location. Sabrina and her staff were wonderful and her morning breakfast "spread" was beautifully, even artistically, presented and satisfying. She even arrange a free wine-tasting in Montalcino, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Pienza is a must visit if you want to experience Tuscan country side. It is a beautiful little town. Would recommend staying overnight rather than a day trip. The place looks gorgeous at night and early morning.

Pienza is breathtaking.
Pienza is breathtaking. I fell in love with the views, the town and the people. Pictures do not do it justice, it is a must see!! We had some amazing meals Trattoria La Buca delle Fate, Ristorante dal Falco, La taverna di Re Artu (sweetest and nicest couple who own this place), Piccolo Mini caffe was a great find and had a great melanzana and one of my favorite meals was Trattoria da Fiorella.

Pienza is a beautiful & historic small Tuscan hill town...
Pienza is a beautiful & historic small Tuscan hill town situated in the Val D'orcia and close to the wine towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano. It's much quieter than some of the famous Tuscan towns like San Gimignano, Volterra or Montepulciano but certainly as interesting. Plenty of restaurants for eating, and the town has a beautiful balcony overlooking the valley and Monte Amiato, great for strolling in the evening. What I particularly liked as a slightly mobility-impaired visitor is that the town is built on a level hill with few inclines.

Wonderful little town, not so crowded but much nicer than other hyped destinations like Siena or San Gimignano. Lot's of plants on the street,, endless restaurants, that's exactly what we like. Also e-Bike Tuscany by Steffi is recommended to try. Scenery is unbelievely amazing.

The three days we stayed at Palazzo Massaini-Le Scuderie brought us a pleasant and perfect experience in Tuscany. The hotel is located on a hill with a view of Pienza and the Tuscan countryside. The hotel itself is a landscape, and passing cars will stop to take pictures. The three windows of the room look out to the beautiful scenery of Tuscany and the hotel garden! The room facilities are perfect, the breakfast is rich, and free capsule coffee is provided in the room living room. Perfect experience, we will come back again!
Exceptional, with thoughtful, innovative design and great attention to comfort. Very quiet. Very helpful staff. Best breakfast I've seen in Italy (for instance, chopped apple with a little lemon and honey, with yoghurt; many local cheeses and meats; tomatoes; pastries and cereals). Lovely terrace for breakfast or just hanging out. I would love to return here and use it as a base for exploring nearby sites in Tuscany. Historic Pienza is small and it takes less than 5 minutes pleasant walk to arrive in the centre.
Our stay at the townhouse hotel was truly beautiful. We were fortunate to secure the rooftop room, which added to our enjoyment and made it one of the most memorable stays we've had in Pienza. The hotel's prime location allows for easy exploration of the charming streets and offers a breathtaking view of Tuscany's sunset
Great location, loved the appartment, fun and very nicely decorated. Great location, easy to find, very close to the centre, easy access to restaurants, shops and bars. Parking on site is a definite bonus. Pienza is a must to visit, so beautiful and well-cared for, one of the nicest of the hill towns of Tuscany.
This hotel was the highlight of our Toscana Trip 🇮🇹
We chose a room with a view and it didn't disappoint. Although the weather was a bit cold, our view made up for it.
The hotel is right in the centre of Pienza, in a very old XVth century monastery.
Amazing ❤️
