The B&B was well located in a very quiet area but in walking distance to the town centre, a good restaurant in Ristorante Pizzeria del Teatro, and a short distance from the bus stop for Villa Romana del Casale. The B&B was very attractive and very clean, and the owner Morgan could not have been more obliging in providing useful information, and picking me up and dropping me off.

Quiet neighbourhood, nice view to the hills. Breakfast is mostly home-made cakes and desserts - magnificent! Villa Romana del Casale is very close.

Very friendly staff and a spacious pool area. Nice outdoor areas. They offer a very good 4 course dinner for 32 € per person, which was good value for money.

The apartment is almost in the middle of the city and in walking distance, 5 minutes to restaurants, cafes etc. Also easy free parking. Pino and Nadia are very lovely hosts, they made us a very nice breakfast every morning and answered all our questions. The apartment itself is spotless and has lovely old Italian architecture. The amazing attraction is only 10 mins drive, the Villa Romana del Casale!!! Awesome. We highly recommend this place.
Quaint area with beautiful medieval and Roman influence.
Quaint area with beautiful medieval and Roman influence. Great area to explore. Villa Romana di Casale houses exquisite mosaics dating back to around 4 A.D. Food spots were great too / highly recommend Pizza e Core and Ostera del Conte, door to door deliciousness in the heart of the city. For lunch we also ate at Trattoria da Gianna wh8xh was authentic and delicious, with all food cooked from scratch. The area was also friendly with regards to amneties etc - the city even has vehicle charging pillars available :)

The room was great and a good location for what I I was doing. The room was very comfortable and unique. I had lots of choices close by for eating. Parking was a short distance away, and I opted to pay for the parking to ensure I could leave the car there for two days. Cost was negligible. Excellent room and very helpful host.

The Romana Casale was terrific.
The Romana Casale was terrific. Better than we might have imagined. It is slightly outside of the town.
The town was difficult to navigate--the narrowest streets we have experienced, and you must climb straight up to reach open restaurants, near as we can tell. It is likely different during high season, with more things open.

The city has a particular charm very different from the towns in the Val de Noto we visited and one has a much stronger sense of thousands (!) of years of continual living and history. Make sure to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, fantastic!

Incredible historical area.
Incredible historical area. So many ancient temples in one place with detailed information posted throughout the site. Take a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. It is easy to get around though not always on even ground. Easy to park at either entrance, allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There is also a cafe on site.

It was an unforgettable stay in Armerina. La Casetta is romantic accommodation right in the heart of the historic city. We fully recommend stay at this cozy house, walk through the night streets, discover the hidden treasures of the city and just enjoy the Genius loci of this place. Thanks Massimo for a warm welcome and useful tips for visiting the city and other places in Sicily (In English - what is not so common on the island). I would sum it up in one word - just LOVELY ❤️
We spent here very short time. Just arrived in the evening and left after breakfast as we wanted to visit the Villa Casale nearby. The location of the house was perfect for this, it is in the quiet suburbs of Piazza Armerina. We got a parking place and after arrival we could go to have dinner, which was very delicious and a big portion (we recommend to try it). The room was spacious and the host was very kind.
We stayed at la Collina D'Oro which is of the same owner Luciano. He informed me of the change prior our arrival (days before)which was better than we expected. Very equipped since we had a dog and our room had a front lawn. Breakfast was great and the capuccino was the best I had in Sicily. Thank you Luciano.
This was the best stay we had in Sicily. Happy and attentive staff, authentic decor, super tasty and local food and a brilliant stay. This place will stay in our memories forever
