It was in a quiet harbor with 5 restaurants to choose from. We ate at 3 of them and were pleased! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had hoped to get the room with the extra large balcony that had loungers on it but got the one next to it with a small table and 2 chairs. We were still able to enjoy the views from it and since the 2nd full day we were there, the weather turned bad so sitting outside wasn’t an option.
We never met any of the staff but easily corresponded with them through Whatsapp. They helped us find a service to pick us up at the Naples train station and get us there and back.

This place is such a hidden gem, I felt like I was staying with family in the countryside. Rosa was super friendly and accommodating, and made us a delicious breafast that we ate on the balcony overlooking the coast (spectacular view).

It was a perfect stay near to Sorrento. The train station was a 5 min walk and the train took us another 5 min to the Sorrento train station. The garden was beautiful and the old villa is very nice.

Views and gardens were beautiful. Husband and wife running the estate were amazing and helpful. Always kind and ready to assist with all our needs. Even offered a ride to ferry extremely early (6:45am) on a Saturday morning.

Beautiful spot with a nice garden. It’s relaxing and nicely decorated. It’s very convenient to the commuter train station and cost just 1.5 euros to go up to Naples or down into Sorrento. Breakfast is made to order, so we had omelettes that were delicious.

The place was great! Easy to find, staff was very nice and helpful, price was good too. It was the larger bathroom in our trip to Italy and very clean room with all facilities we needed. However, it was not so close to downtown or the beaches of Sorrento (it is a nearby city called piano de sorrento) although it was very close to the train station, but train there is not so great specially to come back home at night.

My husband and I liked everything. Very nice and lovely owners, who gave us all of the attention to make our holiday superb! The room was clean and our bed was made every day. We had yummy breakfast and great sleep. The area is quiet and the villa is 7 min to the train station.
We had welcome drinks, fresh fruit, water in the fridge and we were given some tips how to explore the area. We really recommend the villa to everyone who is looking for a great holiday stay!

If you are earmarked for activities in Sorrento and the Amalfi coast destinations like Positano, Amalfi etc. It is better to stay in Sorrento proper. Piano di Sorrento is a neighboring town and taxis are costly. Best way to go to Sorrento and other places is by train. Meta train station is the nearest one from the hotel and it is a 15 minute walk.
However, it is cheaper to stay here than in Sorrento. So this factor can be an incentive to stay in Piano di Sorrento. The hotel is a boutique hotel. Clean, very good staff and a decent breakfast.

It was a great place to stay for us. Quieter than Sorrento, with really good local restaurants and great access to bus and train.
The wider area was very busy at the time of our stay and I’d avoid early-mid September in future.
But Piano is a great place to stay for visiting other parts of Sorrento peninsula.

The public beach is one of the better ones on the peninsula and not as croweded as the ones in Meta or in Sorrent, but lacks most facilities (no public showers, like in Spain or Portugal), yet offer impressive views.The Lido(Bagnia Tina) is also good, except for the loud music. Sadly, but typical fo the region, the city is not very walkable, due to the lack of pedestrian paths, except for the main alles connecting the train Station with the beach.
Ideal point if you want a beautiful landscape(Lemon plantations!) and affordable Restaurants(compared to Sorrent ~20 percent less, although there is not that much variety in Piano itself , mostly Pizza places)
Piano is a convenient location for day trips to Capri(Laser Capri offers great prices down in the harbour of Piano), the Amalfi coast and Pompeji&Herculaneum. The Airport is easily reached with the Cuerri Viaggio Transfer Service (extremly cheap but comfortable).
There are two super markets close to the shore and a small "strip mall" close to the train station&Corso Italiano and a pharmacy.

Piano do Sorento Is a small town just outside of Sorrento (20 mins away by train). Piano di Sorento is accessible by train from Naples. The beach is a short walk from the main town and is accessible by a lift at certain times of the day for a small fee, or walking via a large steep road. There is a selection of restaurants and bars in the town which the local residents frequent and we enjoyed delicious food and wine here too, in particular the restaurant Osteria Palazzo Maresca, where the food and service was outstanding. Not all the people here are friendly and do not appear to like foreigners so be aware of this. Also the roads are busy and drivers of cars and scooters will not stop for you even at designated a crossings. It is helpful to learn some Italian words and phrases as not all the local people will speak basic English if any at all. I would recommend visiting the next town of Sant’Agnello as it is very beautiful and peaceful.

Very clean spacious flat very well equipped including air conditionning and with fantastic sea views - sunsets are spectacular. local amenities very close: bakery, pizzeria, gelateria, cafe, supermarket and 10min walk to station and 5min walk to beach and harbour. Host very friendly and responsive. Glad we settled for this small village rather than Sorrento. Very much local life with some tourists but not many.
Great location, very close to the train station. Easy to reach Sorrento downtown and good starting point to visit Amalfi coast and Capri (Capri ferries leave from Piano as well which is convenient). Susanna and Luigi were very friendly/helpful, they even kept our luggage after check out so we could enjoy the beach on our last day as well. Piano beach was also a nice surprise, very pretty and not as crowded!
The hotel had great character, it was more traditional than a larger hotel. We primarily used it as a base and the location was great, a short walk to the train station, restaurants, beech, etc. being in piano meant it wasn't full of us tourists, which was nice and quiet. The owners were lovely and very helpful, I would definitely recommend, thank you.
The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect location for a slightly quieter tourist spot. Only a few minutes walk to the train station. There's plenty of food places nearby and a supermarket just around the corner Absolutely loved it here and would definitely stay again.
Location was great close to train station and bus stop. Restaurants and shops close by. It was a very nice apartment and Large rooms. Loved our stay and our host was very helpful organised a taxi for us, so nice thanks Sue
