Great location right in the heart of Orvieto. Easy walk to restaurants and sites. Extra charge for parking, but given the location of the hotel that is understandable.

staff helped me communicate as I did not speak italian
Orvieto sums up the best of Italian tourism. (And it is a tourist town: It has been an in-crowd Mecca for 50 years or more. Every third doorway has a shop with some cool gegaws to bring home for friends and family: clothing, jewelry, leather goods, scents, spices, cookware, great souvenirs - really good stuff at competitive prices). Also, great competitive hotels, many with free or reasonable breakfasts, competitive restaurants with every attractive one having really good food. Safe clean streets with cobble stones giving your ankles a good workout, and a ton of attractions with just a bit of healthy, safe walking between each stop.

Orvieto is a very walkable city and some beautiful churches. The underground is worth visiting too. I loved the walk around the city on the path by the walls but it is very hard to find/follow without a guide.

Orvieto is a fascinating little city with a lot of history and a number of great sights. It's a quiniessential place for wandering, Walks around the perimeter afford awesome views of the valleys below and the distant mountains. Download an offline map, because you WILL get lost while wandering the labyrinthine inner city, but, once you get a handle on the general orientation of the city, pay attention to your surroundings and how you reached where you are when you decide you are lost, so you can backtrack to the last familiar location. Familiarity will grow every time you venture out.

What a pleasant surprise.
What a pleasant surprise. Located at the base or Orvieto and was a quick drive up to the old town. The room had all recommendations for activities, restaurants. The host are wonderful and accommodating. I left my nice dinner clothes there and the owner is shipping them to me. Above and beyond expectations

Beautiful town, stunning views and fascinating history. Many interesting attractions. Not swarming with tourists! A good break from the busier Italian tourist attractions, close to both Florence and Rome. Delicious local food.

My girlfriend and I have been travelling Italy and this was the perfect place for us. The house was so modern, it had brilliant facilities. We especially loved the outside area, it was perfect to sit and relax, and really enjoy the nice Italian feel. The room was also brilliant, we had the best sleeps and the shower was just so nice. Laura was the perfect host, so welcoming and kept everything so clean and tidy. We would love to return one day !
Clean well equipped and comfortable two bedroom apartment. Short walk to the duomo and in the old part of Orvieto. Perfect if you were two couples as there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Full, well equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Quiet and secure. Host easy to deal with, would happily stay again.
This hotel is a little gem: perfect location, within 100 metres of the Duomo butvin a quiet street; the rooms are excellent; the breakfast is great and the staff are all friendly and helpful. I will be staying here next time i visit Orvieto. Grazie
