The room spacy and with a sunny (mornings) balcony - but with shutters to fully darken it nonetheless.

Verkar nice, clean and very nice and informative staff
Olbia is all about the sea, and what a glorious turquoise sea it is. As the gateway to Sardinia’s stunning Emerald Coast, this down-to-earth town is often overlooked in favour of the more glamorous resorts. However, it does have attractions of its own.
The simple Basilica of San Simplicio dates to the 11th century and the Church of St Paul the Apostle is also medieval. The National Archaeology Museum houses Roman ships, as well as prehistoric artefacts from the surrounding area.
Sardinia has a wealth of prehistoric structures and one of these – the Tomba dei Giganti Su Monte‘e S’Abe – is near Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport and medieval Pedres Castle. Across the bay is Sa Testa Sacred Well, dating to at least 1200 BC.
Along the coast in Pittulongu are the real attractions – fantastic, unspoilt beaches from where you can see rocky Tavolara Island, a popular diving site. In summer, boats sail there from Isola Bianca Harbour, the arrival point of ferries from the Italian mainland. The harbour’s fishing boats are responsible for the fantastic mussels in Olbia’s seafood restaurants, some of which are amid bars and shops on Corso Umberto – the locals’ favourite passeggiata spot.
The Olbia accommodation on Booking.com includes luxury spa hotels, apartments near the beach and cheap B&Bs.

If you just stay in Olbia there is not much, I got lucky with a festival but 3 days would be sufficient to see the city itself. People are nice and yes good food and coffee but I stayed longer and while good for me as I needed to relax I still felt that it was more than long enough

It was great to go to the park with the fountain and waterfall as well as the Basilica and bus stops everywhere. Pittulungo was the nearest beach and only took 15/20 mins by bus.
The supermarket SuperPan was very well stocked.

Everything one needs for self catering availability on the door steps!
Local people very friendly and helpful, though taxis were unfairly expensive for the distance covered. Local transport available but at spaced out in the day, some buses had 62 minutes wait? But the trains were run on time, and the most efficient and reliable!
The one thing found quite uncomfortable was rubbish left on the roadside, and dog fouling left on the pavement literally everywhere! Don’t understand why the local people allow their dogs to foul the pavements, especially when it is a tourist attraction!
Good availability of local food but don’t cater much for vegetarian

Easy to get around , great bus service to visit other places , Good food and wines . I liked the fact I heard no other English or Australian voices whilst there -I heard only Italian and a little French -I felt as if I were in Italy which I was of course ! The sea was clean (a relief as have heard bad things about the med) the snorkelling enjoyable . I also felt very safe whilst in Olbia - which is very important . Not as much history or archeological sites as Sicily for example , but better beaches , people mostly helpful and friendly . It worked for us as a group of 5 travelling separately coming from different places and meeting in Olbia .

I was in Olbia a couple of years ago for half day while waiting for my departing flight. I quite enjoyed it. I was back for one night this year because I had an early flight, but it was very disappointing. It was extremely hot, while in Alghero and the west coast I was coming from it was 8 degrees cooler thanks to the constant breeze. Prices for accommodations have become outrageous, due to high amount of flights often departing very early in the morning or arriving late at night people need to spend the night and have to pay between 100 and 150 euros for one room for one person. Anybody who owns a room in the center has turned it in a BB, asking for high prices not in line with the quality of what is being offered. In this way, people who live there do not find places to rent anymore. Sardegna is beautiful, there are gorgeous beaches everywhere. There is no need to stay in Olbia and contribute to this situation that Obla shares with other tourist destinations. Make sure to get a flight that doesn't oblige you to sleep there.

The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of food and quantity. Still covid-conscious. Pool was almost always quiet. Nearest beach was a 5-minute walk away, with many others within walking distance. A bus stop outside the hotel took you into Olbia in 15 minutes for €1.50, with regular service. Hotel was spotless and nicely decorated with artworks and furniture. The gardens were immaculate and encouraged wildlife.
Very lovely accommodation! The owners are very lovely and helpful, making the breakfast freshly every morning, which was excellent!
The location is close to a few nice beaches and good to reach from the airport with a car.
Great if you are looking for a calm place to stay, but still be within reach of the next town (Olbia).
It was situated near beach like around 30m. It was amazing and comfortable to stay here, clear room, kitchen, terrace outside, amazing clear beach, view and close restaurants with very polite people. You can rent sun-beds and umbrella on the beach from terrace, it costs for 2 around 25-30 euro/day.
Lovely apartment, with all you can possibly need. We loved the location. Perfect spot to explore Costa Smeralda beaches. I loved the fact we were close to Olbia to all the shops also.
Piero (the host) was very Accomodative, nothing was a problem, super fast responses.
We wish to be back!
Lovely little hotel right by the beach. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast is nice and it’s close by to amenities so you don’t need a car to get around. I especially loved how quiet and private the rooms were.
