The location is the best, at the start of the ZTL area, right before the city centre. The breakfast is complimentary and buffet style in a room with an incredible view. The view of some of the rooms is exquisite. We couldnt use the pool but i m sure during summer is gorgeous.

Amazing place to stay. Good location, good service.
Beautiful Tuscan town. But the two main churches are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, if you can believe it... Better stay in Peinza or Montepulciano. But Sant'Antimo Abbey, 10 kms away, is a world wonder.

Montalcino is a wonderful little town overlooking one of the best wine regions in Europe. For me, this region has the best wine you'll find as they care about their grapes to a much higher standard. It's not touristy which means you get more authenticity. The food is incredible, people welcoming, and you're close enough to travel to surrounding towns with ease.

Montalcino is a quiet hill town that we love returning to often. We love walking all around town. A 4 hour hike gets you to Sant' Antimo Abbey and then you can take the bus back to town. We love eating at Il Moro and at Osteria di Porta al Cassero as well as Re di Macchia. Great town at the winter holidays!

We stayed in Montalcino two nights, which was about right for people who like wine but aren’t fanatics. Drove all over, got lost, went to Montepulciano (very crowded, steep and hard to get to—was very glad we stayed in Montalcino instead!) enjoyed the Abbey de Sant Altimo south of town, not overrun by people.

a wonderful town for wine & food lovers. you can drink excellent wines for far less than they cost in the States. we also found excellent restaurants. the ambiance is really nice here.
in particular there is an enoteca with over 100 wines by the glass or taste and will ship the wines to you that you would like to buy. we easily found 3 cases to send home with free shipping!

This apartment is perfect in every way, boasting the convenience and cleanliness of a high-end hotel, an excellent location, and a friendly host. The view of the Tuscan plains is magnificent, and the facilities are very well maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Highly recommended accommodation.
Breakfast was 20 out of 10! We were comparing all the remaining hotels we stopped during our journey to that breakfast. Very special approach and so delicious! Many many thanks 🫶🏻
Little gifts, winery tour and tasting for the guests make it so homey!
The hotel is very well located, you can walk everywhere. Our room was very nice with lots of space. The view from the terrase and pool is amazing. The breakfast was good but they could add some warm food like scramble eggs.
