This hotel is in a fantastic position to explore Martina Franca. It is literally a ten minute walk along pavements to the historic centre. Really good town to base yourselves in. It has a big historic centre and several other interesting roads. We spent one whole day exploring it and it was so easy to pop back to the hotel. Slightly annoying that they still have a siesta in southern Italy!
Big room with a comfy bed and a large balcony. A bath with a shower, all very clean. Plenty of room to hang clothes. Huge swimming pool but, unfortunately, at this time of year it didn't catch any sun on it so we didn't actually use it. Plenty of parking space. Very quiet one night but the other nights touring coaches arrived from Bulgaria and Spain which livened it up. This did not affect our stay negatively at all. The dining room has plenty of room for everyone and the staff really looked after us. We ate in the hotel on two occasions. The three course menu is very reasonable and the wine is local and cheap! We enjoyed the local food and wine.

A very peaceful place with lots of character. Rooms and buildings were finished to a high standard. It was lovely to see the grapes growing in the working vineyard.
All Staff were very attentive and helpful. Sonya in particular helped to organise a meal with wine parring, which enhanced the dinning experience.. This gave us a chance to taste more of the wine produced on the estate with the lovely local dished cooked in the restaurant. Thank you team Masseria Trulli e Vigne.
Can highly recommend this place.

I hadn't heard of the town before I booked the hotel but it is a great place to stay. Big historic centre and plenty of other roads to wander about, looking at the architecture. Lots of restaurants and enough shops.
Very central to drive around this part of Puglia.

Martina Franca has a small historical centre, with plenty of restaurants.
Be aware that many are closed in the afternoons, until 19:30.
Ideally located for trips to other places, like Locorotondo, Alberobello & Monopoli.

Martina Franca is located within the province of Taranto in...
Martina Franca is located within the province of Taranto in central Puglia. It has a compact old town, where you can still trace the ring of old city walls, puntuated by occasional round towers at corners. It's one of Puglia's "white cities", so called because the buildings are all painted in bright whitewash.
It's a quiet city, but the old centre is equipped with some great restaurants, coffee shops and places where you can sit down and enjoy gelato.
The city is centrally located, and parking wasn't too hard, which means that it's an ideal base if you plan to drive around the region and visit other cities such as Locorotondo (barely 15 minutes away), Alberobello, Matera and Lecce.
It's also thankfully spared from the hordes of tourists that tend to descend en masse on other cities in Puglia, so it's retained more charm than some of its neighbours in the region.

This was one of the most beautiful apartments imaginable.
This was one of the most beautiful apartments imaginable. The 2 bedrooms are spaced widely apart for ultimate privacy. The decor and facilities are top notch. This owner did an outstanding renovation compared to so many that I have seen where the original home was "butchered" to save money. The rooftop terrace is lovely and we had a neighborhood cat who traversed the rooftops to visit up every morning. He didn't get close, just kept an eye out for treats. We didn't do any cooking because there are hundreds of lovely restaurants that we wanted to try, but the kitchen appeared to be completely equipped.

The room was quite spacious and very clean. Views over the city were amazing. The restaurant provided lovely dinner options and the breakfasts were plentiful.
The hotel grounds were stunning with hidden spots to explore and amazing Wisteria trees that festooned the pergolas. This hotel will have been magnificent in its hay-day.
The historic town centre was beautiful. Go for a walk in the early evening to capture it at its best.
The location was great, an easy walk into Martina Franca. We had chosen Martina Franca as a base to explore other towns in the area, but were delighted with Martina Franca itself, which was a discovery! The apartment is comfortable, and creatively arranged for the space, which is on the small side. It is modern, and the bathroom is very nice. There is free parking on a street not far away.
Very big house, lots of bedrooms, each couple had their own space and privacy. Large area around, nice swimming pool and places to relax. Very good contact with the host, he responded to our requests and needs up to date. We had a nice holiday, about 20 meters from the house there is a delicious and famous pizzeria. Nearby the charming town of Martina Franca.
Great and spacious appartment, in a lovely green property. A few minutes by car away feom the center, but very quiet and relaxing. Lovely swimming pool, even at the beginning of May. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, but respect our privacy. We had a great family week. Martina Franca is a great base to explore the region.
The apartment is in a great location just inside the centro storico. it is compact but well equipped and comfortable. Also, Cosimo was very helpful with advice and tips.
