A wonderful historic city center hotel with very nice amenities. The hotel had a lovely park like setting with a bar, restaurant and (heated) swimming pool. The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was luxurious. The Breakfast was perfection and the interior bar was warm and welcoming. There was live music in the bar both nights we were there.

This location and property are idyllic and charming. Hotel Unterrain truly sits in a vineyard and orchard owned by the family.
Walking distance to San Paolo and the castles was reasonable and somewhat challenging, which we liked. The indoor pool facility was lovely.
The breakfast provided daily surpassed our expectations in variety, quality, and freshness.
The Family is extremely welcoming and accommodating.
They made us feel at home despite our language barrier.
We would recommend this property.

Gorgeous family-run boutique hotel with beautiful views, delicious breakfast, rooftop jaccuzzi, sauna and pool
Breakfast setting outdoors under the grape vines with a view of the mountains couldn't have been better. It is quite a relaxing atmosphere (except for the birds and wasps!). I would only say that a buffet would be preferred so we could select the specific items and quantities desired. The quality was good and the dinners at both the bistro and restaurant were terrific. The website photos of the hotel setting do not do it justice!
A boutique-style family-run business in a breathtaking location surrounded by vineyards. Very nice hosts, kind, friendly, and helpful. Check-in and out were a breeze but, since it's not a 24/7 hotel, check your arrival hours.
Breakfast was absolutely delightful, with a good choice of cheese, meat, juice, dairy, fruits, cereals, and bread.
