The hotel is in a very central location that is a stone's throw away from the train station and a tram stop (straight from the airport). The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit tight, but the bed was very comfortable and we had no issues with noise - the air conditioning is a life saver in summer in Florence!
You can walk anywhere in central Florence from the hotel, which saves on local transportation costs.
