The reception is Perfect, we received a very NICE treatment, Excellent customer service, very friendly. The breakfast was delicious everything fresh.

When we first arrived we had a small issue with the bathroom but in 5 min, very nice lady (I think Farida) upgraded us to a wonderful bedroom with sauna and jacuzzi.
All the personnel were very nice and speak French.

We had a wonderful stay at La Porta Verde 8. Ivana and Goran are wonderful hosts! They went well beyond all expectations to make our stay perfect. They took care of all details with such friendliness. The apartment is right at the heart of Collecchio, two steps away from great bars, restaurants, supermarkets, everything you may need, and just 15 minutes drive from the heart of Parma.
The apartment has everything you may need and more. It is extremely comfortable, all brand new.
We had a wonderful stay, felt like home, and will surely be back!

....looks like a lovely little town ...found the locals friendly ... I didn't have much time, but there is apparently a tomatoe museum there ...would suggest buying Parmesan from the local dairies... as I did and paid a good price, cheaper than in supermarkets and surely much much better!
I was returning to the area and booked this hotel based on a fantastic previous visit and it did not disappoint! The same great welcome, the room comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast is superb. The location is very convenient and excellent value for money overall.
Our 3rd one-night-stay at this hotel whilst travelling South, and highly recommendable, quiet, good parking behind hotel with easy access. Nice pizzeria nearby, and hotel bar. Collechio not too far from Parma for a visit.
