The breakfast was plentiful though leaned heavily on pastry/ bread. Would have liked some cheese /egg/ meat.

No Towels - how does a place get put on Bookings and it does not give guests towels?
I rent a place to stay at for night to be safe, dry, warm or cool depending on season, comfortable bed, toilet to do our normal human things and a shower so that I can be clean for the day of exploring. I'm not camping! in that situation I would expect to bring towels.
How can a place not supply towel?
The problem becomes when you book a place that is non cancelable and then they say - bring towels. OK I'm a Canadian in Italy - should I zip home and grab some towels????

The location is perfect, I always managed to park my car in front of the door. The owner was very helpful
A beautiful place nestled among the mountains. We went on a breathtaking 15km hike and white water rafting in the Pollino National Park. We would recommend both.
There are way more options for food than we expected, however there are not many English speaking people/staff around but we managed!
The weather was much cooler there than other places in Southern Italy in Summer, particularly in the National Park.

We had a great time in Casamonaco
The room is huge and has an additional side room with table and sofa. It is quiet and comfortable, has shutters to keep the heat out and a quiet A/C.
Stefania our host was incredibly welcoming. She has a great knowledge of the surrounding area and was very helpful in giving us ideas of what to do.
She will also give you the best traditional breakfast in Castrovillari

Everything was perfect. The apartment is modern, with a funky feel. It is spacious, spotless with everything of top quality! Stefania is the perfect host. She is warm, friendly, and kind. She went above and beyond in assisting us with any request we had. We highly recommend Civico 4 for your stay in Castrovillari.
Agriturismo Petrosa is in a nice quiet location, just outside Castrovillari. It was nice to be able to wander around the grape vines in the late afternoon. The room was comfortable, and very clean.
Very clean modern rooms and spacious bathrooms. Very pretty grounds/setting and pool as well as secure, on-site parking. Dog-friendly hotel. Great value for money!
