This is a hotel with great value for the cost. It is a little older hotel but the room was clean and spacious. We did enjoy the breakfast and wished we would have had time to experience the bar area the night before. Location was perfect for us to get to the airport the next morning. The beds were comfy also.

It was a breeze to check in and find our room. It was as advertised, and beds were comfortable. There was an area to prepare food and there was a table that sat 4 for eating and playing games.

Absolutely book this property! While it is compact, there was plenty of space for our large family. The location couldn’t be better. Close enough to grocery stores and Reykjavík but secluded enough to feel like you were in nature, this place had the best of both worlds. We were even able to see the Northern Lights unobstructed!

We stayed here our last night of an 11 day trip and it was excellent. Incredible location. Beautiful, big house that was great for cooking for a large group. There were 4 beds in the main house (2 in the same room upstairs, 1 just at the top of the stairs not in a room, 1 in a room downstairs) and 1 bed in the guest house. Hot tub and sauna were delightful, we spent a couple hours watching the Northern Lights from the hot tub which is something we will never forget. Hosts were very responsive to questions and came out to look at the hot tub when it wasn’t getting hot. Beds were comfy.
