Of all the places we stayed in Iceland, this was our favorite. From the sweet baby sheep that greeted us at check-in, to letting the horses out to graze in the evening, to the beautiful breakfast spread, we loved every minute of it.

This is a cabin with an exceptional view of the fjords. I loved the location. It is a very small town. There are no restaurants. You have to bring your own food and drinks. The wood cabin has a hot tub. The kitchen has all the stuff you need to cook. The drive to this location is amazing. Breathtaking views.

Ask for a balcony room with a view - it was beautiful, gave us some outside seating and fresh air in the room. The decor is great, room was large, great bed, good shower. Easy check-in, parking directly across the street, close to restaurants.
Cute little town with scenic walking/running tails.
Cute little town with scenic walking/running tails. It has everything an authentic Icelandic town needs: a grocery store, gas station, cafe with decent coffee, swimming pool and lots of nature around.
The hotel is good value with functional rooms and a fantastic view across the water. Although there are no extras in the room, there is a shared kitchenette area for each floor, including a fridge and microwave. The location is very quiet and a short walk to the nearest (only) restaurant in the town, the Bait Shack, which appears to be owned by the same company. A discount voucher was provided for dinner. The buffet breakfast was adequate and what one might expect from a education facility.
This hotel is essentially a working farm. Horses, sheeps and lambs are the primary products. The highlight of this establishment is the friendliness of the staff. Having breakfast in the morning was like eating in your own kitchen and having quiet conversations with friends and family. They also provided guidance to find the local puffin population.
Standard Icelandinc wood floors and cleanliness.
We had a great stay at Hildibrand Apartment Hotel. The apartment was very spacious and equipped with all the necessary facilities. Its location close to the city made it easy to reach, and despite arriving late, the check-in process was smooth. The staff were responsive, even answering our call late at night. Overall, we had a hassle-free experience and definitely recommend this property.
Breakfast was served in a Café, 2 Minutes drive. Breakfast was delicious and Personal wäre very nice. The Breakfast was super. Thank good, that it was not served in the Hotel. Breakfast and Location of the Café were Perfect.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful and the room itself is spacious. Everything was clean. The breakfast (which is at another hotel) was nice.
