Location was the main reason we chose this hotel- the room was a bit tight, no hooks in the bathroom to hang things on- nor a closet in the main room. There was a coatrack but it was awkwardly located. Breakfast was ok.

The cottage is situated upon a hill which offered great views of the farm and valley below. Helga is a wonderful host and we appreciated how she took time to show us around the dairy. The cottage is cozy and offered plenty of room for the four of us.

I absolutely loved our stay at this guesthouse. The area is so charming -- sweeping views with horses, sheep, and cows all around.
We stayed on the main floor by the living room and I was surprised by how little noise travelled. With our door closed we felt like we had a lot of privacy. The home was very clean and cozy. There were two bathrooms on the main floor as well so we never had issues with the bathroom overcrowding.
The hosts are super kind and friendly--we chatted with one of them during breakfast and learned a lot about the area.
There's a dairy farm 5 minutes down the road and they have the best ice cream! An absolute must-do if you're in the area. Call ahead if you want to drop-by outside of their posted hours.

Wonderful cozy room and charming hosts. The farm is beautiful. And, the dinner is my main reason for coming here, again and again. One of my best fish dinners in Iceland.
