I was nervous about the shared bathrooms but our fears vanished immediately once we saw how clean and well kept the entire place was. Pristine conditions, very welcoming and cozy decor, we felt right at home.

Staying in Hofn was a great choice for exploring the southeastern part of Iceland. The cottage was modern, clean, and offered beautiful views of the mountains and foss. The breakfast was delicious and hearty, perfect for a day of adventures. Hofn itself has great seafood restaurants and is close to Vatnajökull National Park. I would definitely stay here again.

Older hotel. Sheets had some holes. Clean, but tired place. Pricey for what it was. I realize Iceland is expensive so it was a bit less than other choices nearby, but those seem like pretty high prices for an older hotel. It’s fine as a three-star kind of place, you get what you’d expect, but not really value for the price.

We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so much

I would not stay at this property again based on mold in...
I would not stay at this property again based on mold in bedroom, sticky loud doors and outdated. The property pictured (outside view) was not the property we stayed at - disappointing. The short hike to waterfall behind the property was the only redeeming quality of the stay. Not worth the price.
