We enjoyed meeting Rocky. He gave us a lot of great advice about our travel plans. We enjoyed the room. The blackout curtains worked well and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. The place had a very nice kitchen, dining and living room with games.

Scenic area and close to the thermal pool across the road. Was told eagles move through sometimes, but we didn't happen to see any until further east in the fjords. Lots of snipe in the mowed yard. The temperature was comfortable as the home is heated thermally. Keep in mind the windows are the thermostat essentially. Kitchen and laundry were nice to have.

The location is amazing! It was a short walk to the beach, a short drive to several hot pots/hot springs, and had great views of the mountains. The staff were also really friendly and tried to make accommodations as best they could. I wish I could have stayed for longer, I hope to stay here the next time I visit this area!

This family-owned B&B is located in Bíldudalur village in Iceland’s West Fjords region. It offers brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi access and mountain or fjord views.
No bags in trash can. No sugar. Found the coffee in a container not marked as coffee. We ate dinner at a guesthouse restaurant near the ferry. Bring your food as there is nothing near by to eat. We used a hot pot near the ferry as well as the pool and warm water pot just behind the swimming pool was nice.

It was very quiet and away from anything. You are right beside the ocean and there is a nearby hot pot. The bad thing though is that you at least 15 minutes from a gas station and 40 minutes from a supermarket.

Great location and very nice hosts. Bring FOOD! The guidebooks aren't lying when they say you are in a remote area of Iceland. Our apartment had a full kitchen. Make sure you are prepared with food and drink as there are not many options nearby.

We chose this because this is a not far from the Stykkisholmur ferry. We spent the night here before starting our tour of the Westfjords. It was excellent as a layover, but there is little else to do.
