Newbridge is close enough to Dublin to use as a base to visit Dublin city and get to airport. Newbridge has all the shopping you would ever need The Kadeen Hotel in the town has a high quality restaurant, it's is expensive but very good menu.

I wanted a place outside of Dublin (about 50 minutes from the airport) as I made my way West. It was perfect for that. Easy to get there and easy to find my way when I left. The staff was quite friendly and got me some food when I arrived, which was just outside dining hours, which I greatly appreciated! Bedding was very comfortable and breakfast in my room was abundant and tasty. Would definitely stay again.

It's important to realize that Newbridge is the commercial center of Kildare County if not greater Dublin, and it has the traffic to match. Most of it is a huge mall, a rather incongruous thing in Ireland. Avoid driving through there during rush hour and give yourself plenty of time to get where you're going no matter when it is. We only stayed there because we couldn't get lodging in Kildare, which was our real destination. For that, it was fine. We enjoyed our dinner at East Garden Chinese.

We attended the unveiling of Olivia Newton Jonh's memorabilia in Newbridge Silverware and we got a very good view of Olivia herself. We were in Newbridge specifically for the event and we enjoyed it tremendously. Unfortunately on the day we arrived we were drenched in very heavy rain. Otherwise everything was marvellous

Helen and her husband welcomed me into their home like a family member. The furnishings throughout the BnB were of a very high standard. High quality linen on windows and bed. Spotlessly clean throughout, Helen pays attention to the finest details of her home. Helen and her husband, even though they were busy, dropped me off twice at Newbridge because they said the road has no path and is dangerous for walkers. Variety of choice for breakfast including eating times. All breakfasts here were enjoyed by myself.

A top example of Irish hospitality: one arrives as a customer and leaves as a friend. We were in Newbridge to attend a concert in town, we didn’t just get hints for places to eat but even a lift to town, saving the expense of a taxi. Any request we had was solved and in the morning, no trouble was too much for breakfast and check-out. We had a lovely, quite room with all facilities.
