The beds were very comfortable, and the room quite!
The breakfast was also really nice.
The in-house bar was great!

House is lovely. Much bigger than the photos make it seem. Living room has a double bed and downstairs toilet to the back, very handy if you're disabled. Upstairs has 2 double beds and a single. It's very clean and comfortable.

Great location, walking distance to the beaches and pubs,
Great breakfast ,and the staff were fantastic.
Doogort was peaceful and so relaxing. There weren't any shops open while we were there over Easter, which was lovely. There might be more open during the summer. If we needed food we headed to Keel. The Beach Hotel in Doogort was open at the weekend and there were plenty of people in the bar but it closed again once Monday came.
There are a few places to eat on the island, Mastersons bar being the closest. There is also a great wee place called Pure Magic which did lovely pizzas. The drive to Keel doesn't take long and has a few more bars and restaurants.
If you want a quiet break with breathtaking scenery you're going to the right place.
A drive to Keem Bay is definitely worth it but try to go early/late to avoid the crowds. We saw a seal coming out of the water and basking sharks not too far out in the sea.
