The unit was bright and modern. The pictures online don’t do it justice. Lots of beds. Tankless hot water for shower. Unit came with a washer and dryer, which is a real bonus. The washer had been disconnected while renovations were done, but not hooked up again. Ena, our contact, went above and beyond, washing our clothes in her own washing machine. The place is in walking distance of two local towns, which contain coffee shop, restauarant, pharmacy, pub. Lovely walking trails nearby. Kkitchen was well supplied with utensils. Ena left us a few snacks and milk to start us off. There is parking for one car, although you could manage two small cars.
A recently renovated apartment, Na Fianna Traditional Irish Cottage offers accommodations in Cornahaw. This apartment features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk, and free Wifi.
