Ballina Manor Hotel, hotel in Ballina

The Ballina Manor Hotel is centrally located in the heart of town while perched on the banks of the world famous River Moy and overlooking St Muredach's Cathedral.

The hotel is beautiful, right on the River Moy. We had a room overlooking the river and could not have been more pleased. The staff were amazing. The young gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. The location in town made everything in walking distance. The food was delicious in the hotel and the bartender in Shambles was awesome.

Good clean hotel in countryside. Located on a road leading to main highways. Good restaurant and excellent service. Staff handled our very active toddler really well and bartender even offered to help carry some drinks from bar to room when I had my hands full.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't good so we didn't explore as much as we would have liked to - as the area had a lot to offer. However, we will be returning. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are wonderful.

Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town.

Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town. There are many places of interest with interest boards and murals explaining about people and places. The Jackie Clarke Collection is well worth a visit, and it is free. You can read about many people and events in the town and surrounding area then go visit them. It is clear the War of Independence and the Civil War had huge effects upon the town and surrounding area.

Plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants in this picturesque town on the river Moy. We can see why Jack Charlton loved the place. We enjoyed watching the anglers waste deep in the river fishing for salmon. We had dinner in the hotel on both evenings and the food was great.

A lovely town, with lots to see and do in the area, nice places to eat, close to many other nice places to visit, so a good base for the area. Get out and enjoy the music and arts, and its ambition to be the most climate friendly town.

Hotel was lovely all the staff were very friendly, we had two nights and really found the hotel comfortable.. we stay in Ballina every month, but this was the first time we tried this hotel.. major plus for us, the breakfast is cooked fresh when you order.. I can’t stand a stale breakfast that’s cooked prior and kept warm so well done for this .. will stay here again.
