The pod was very clean and cosy! It has all the kitchen amenities so we could prepare our own breakfast. It is a very quiet area, with no lights around so you can stargaze the sky during the night. It is right in front of the sea so you can see the waves and downpatrick head from there. I am very happy that we decided to spent the night there, it was very magical!

We didn't realise how close Ballycastle is to the beach.
We didn't realise how close Ballycastle is to the beach. It was great to be able to walk there and back. We enjoyed an evening drink in Healy's bar which serves an excellent pint of Guinness. We ate at Killala Restaurant about 15 minutes from Ballycastle. Staff there are friendly with great food. We especially liked the chocolate tart with ginger ice-cream. Mary's bakery in Ballycastle was open at 9am and we enjoyed freshly baked scones and pastries before going to visit Downpatrick Head.
