The facilities were great, staff very friendly and helpful, the location an absolute dream. Both sides from the jetty were like different worlds. We spent an average of 5 hours each day in the water and did not get bored. The coral and fish diversity and density just unbelievable. Cannot imagine a better snorkeling location, particularly for strong swimmers/ snorkelers who can handle the sudden currents in some spots. Food was fresh and very tasty.

A lovely place to stay! The bungalow is quite big, own bathroom. Atmosphere is really nice, good to share your meals with other guests. Aron and his family provided us with a wonderful stay. The bungalow has a fantastic view directly out to sea. You jump into the water, swim 100m and find corals and a great variety of species. Around the bungalow we saw a wobbegong, an epaulette shark, reef sharks, turtles and starfish in the most colorful colors. Aron organized coconuts for us at our request, we were served delicious food directly on our terrace and went on many excursions to fantastic snorkeling spots. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Aron even organized ear drops from Waisai when we got an earache from diving and saved our vacation! Thank you so much for everything. It was an unforgettable vacation!

Firdas is a beautiful homestay with bungalows over there water in front of a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkling. The family is kind and makes sure you get everything you need to enjoy your stay. Food is served three times daily, and there are snacks, tea, coffee and fresh water continuously throughout the day. Text your host the day before you go out for a day activity such as diving to get a lunch box in the morning. The food is delicious and fresh to the point of getting the catch of the day on your plate in the evening. We had a lovely stay and are very appreciative of our hosts! Thank your very much!
On a side-note for future guests (a) communication with your host is easiest via a chat-app such as WhatsApp for easy translation (b) if you ask in advance you can arrange a pick up from Waisai to Kri with Firdas (c) you are on a remote island: electricity is available from 18:00 to 04:00 - bathroom and shower facilities are good compared to the average on the island (d) in general on Kri -> bring enough cash for boat trips and amenities. The location is very beautiful. Beautiful landscapes, it's a shame that it's starting to become a tourist location. Plastic started appearing everywhere, in the water and on the ground. The locals are only interested in money, they do nothing against plastic pollution. Upon entering the area, you are charged a fee used for the maintenance and development of the area, but I personally have not seen anything in this regard. The prices of products and transport are very high compared to other areas, being justified by the high price of fuel. In my opinion, this fuel price is not as high as the locals claim, being the only reason for the excessively high prices and the desire for profit. The area and location are very beautiful, being places dedicated to nature lovers and especially those passionate about diving and snorkling.

Pulau Mansuar is a somewhat remote island in Raja Ampat (but there are much more remote islenads there), with m,ost of the accmmodations accessible from the beach only with a speedboat - which gives one of the charms of it. The other one is the stunning reef all around the island. Sawaranek is supposed the best, but to tell the trurt, all other places we visited were similar. The Manta point neart to Mansuar should not be missed = but make sure you buy in adnvanve (in Waisai) the - otherwise obligatpry - entry PIN for that.

Best Raja Ampat Homestay is a very simple accommodation by our standards, reasonably clean but you have to make certain compromises. We were there for scuba diving and this was really outstanding. Noldy is a very good divemaster and we dived all the well known spots, but also other not so well-known but no less beautiful dive sites. After 40 years of diving I would like to say that Raja Ampat is the end of a long journey. Unfortunately, there are no planned restrictions on tourism, so we can only hope that this region will be spared development like Egypt.
