The property was very charming. The restaurant was nice and the pool was amazing! The location of the property was a bit away from things. We walked to nearby villages and the main waterfalls in the area. The property is located on rice terraces… pretty nice feature!

Such an incredible place to stay! The views from our room were insanely gorgeous. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and welcoming. The villa was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable and all of the facilities were great. So relaxing and peaceful with the ocean sounds right outside our room. The villa's restaurant was amazing too. Walking distance to so much beauty.

Munduk and Bedugul area is perfect for those that like hiking off the typical balinese tourist locations. There are plenty hiking routes to walk in rice fields, around the lakes, at waterfalls, etc. The restaurants in this area are more local, but also offer some light international kitchen. The nights are more refreshing than in the south and the nature can be fascinating with the clouds, the rain and the sunshine chasing each other. For those that want to explore some curves roads with bicycles or scooters or motorbikes, it is a perfect choice.

I didn't visit the village of Munduk but absolutely loved the solitude and gentle peace I felt in the surrounds. It's a must if you need a break from the maddening crowds at the other over-touristy places in Bali.
And if you're in the area, definitely visit Banjar Buddhist Temple, Tegeha village

The nature is beautiful : waterfalls, jungle, lakes, rice fields, coffee plantation. However, except trekking, there is absolutely nothing to do in this area which is vey secluded. There are no taxis, grab, gojek etc… you have to book a private driver for everything (even going to dinner), which is quite expensive and annoying. We spent 4 nights there and it was too long.

Amazing views to mountains from basically any hotel or restaurant. Many hiking trails to waterfalls or little bit further by the lake. Beautiful nature and very friendly locals. Stayed at Adila Homestay - very nice place with restaurant and many services on site + waterfalls hiking track behind their house. Also visited restaurant Made Warung and warung Kadirasa - both family owned by locals, in Kadirasa I was albe to sing karaoke with the owner. Please go and support them in every way possible, its really hard to survive out here for them.

Everything about Nadya Homestay was so enjoyable.Tha room was very large and super clean....The en-suite had plenty of hot water and the shower was one of the best in all Bali....The on-site restaurant was excellent and very affordable. I had all my meals there during the three days I stayed at Munduk...The staff were the best of all-friendly and helpful.I want to thank Putu,Dede,Kadek and Edi...and also the lady in the kitchen whose name I have forgotten...This is a super place to stay and worth returning to...10 out of 10.
Desa Eko is a peaceful place where to stay if you are in the Munduk area. The tent is clean and large enough to host two people with all the luggages. The people helping you to take the luggages to the tent are super kind and helpful, because there are many steps to do to reach the tent from the road. The view from the tent is amazing, and it is also easy to reach the a waterfall trekking path starting from the hotel.
I love everything about this homestay,we did cooking with Adila too,and that was a great experience, she even gave me her whattapps number so that i can text her just incase i forget some of the detail for the cooking.staff very helpful, and they help me with taxi for my next hotel.top
