Fabulous location looking out over valleys and high tropical forest and vibrant green rice paddies. Stunning views, wonderful planting of garden with beautiful plants. Lovely room with an extra double bed for our grownup son upstairs and although in same room , discreetly curtained off.
Staff really helpful and friendly. Enjoyed seeing the preparations for ceremonies relating to Galungan in local village outside the peaceful setting of the hotel.

We stayed in Munduk Cabins 2 nights to explore the north part of Bali. The place is in the jungle completely in the green. Our cabin was amazing with a perfect sunset view. Breakfast is good and the restaurant is excellent. We had dinner there both days and the food was fantastic! The infinity pool and the warm hydromassage small pool are located in a very nice position!
We managed to visit what we planned around:
- Jatiluwih rice terrace
- free coffe and tea tasting at Jati Wangi
- Pura Ulun Danu Beratan
- Twin lake view
- Trekking in the jungle with a local guide
- Dolphin watching in Lovina
- Banyumala twin waterfalls
- Handara gate
- Bali botanical garden
- local market

The nature is beautiful : waterfalls, jungle, lakes, rice fields, coffee plantation. However, except trekking, there is absolutely nothing to do in this area which is vey secluded. There are no taxis, grab, gojek etc… you have to book a private driver for everything (even going to dinner), which is quite expensive and annoying. We spent 4 nights there and it was too long.

Amazing views to mountains from basically any hotel or restaurant. Many hiking trails to waterfalls or little bit further by the lake. Beautiful nature and very friendly locals. Stayed at Adila Homestay - very nice place with restaurant and many services on site + waterfalls hiking track behind their house. Also visited restaurant Made Warung and warung Kadirasa - both family owned by locals, in Kadirasa I was albe to sing karaoke with the owner. Please go and support them in every way possible, its really hard to survive out here for them.

Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Recommend some level of walking fitness before going - more than 1 500 uphill steps during the day resulted in delayed onset muscle soreness for a couple of days.
Take a GoPro for the waterfalls.
Water temple also worth visiting.
The location is simply outstanding for those seeking to escape the crowds and immerse themselves in the beauty of sunsets and the Milky Way, all while sitting on the rooftop with a glass of something, surrounded by fragrant clove trees.
As for the accommodations, they're comfortable enough for a couple of nights, and we often choose to stay here when traveling to the north of the island, passing through Bedugul and Munduk. If you're traveling by motorbike, you'll definitely appreciate this place too.
I liked the area a lot. It is not so touristic, you are very close to some nice rice terraces and waterfalls. Also there are excellent food options in this area (look on google maps).
The view from rooftop of the hotel is amazing.
We stayed in a family room. The room was large with a balcony with a view for the mountains.
The breakfast was good and also the dinner.
There is a motorbike rental near the hotel.
There is a swimming pool with a good view.
