Unique cabins with individual water pond in front filled with large goldfish that can be viewed from large verandah. lovely gardens which provide good privacy . Lovely pool which I pretty much had to myself . Swiss breakfast of coffee fruit salad museli with yogurt and toast and jam was more than adequate for $7.50 AUD. Staff are friendly and Sudi was especially helpful even providing me with fish food to feed the fish . I have stayed here 4 times over the last 10 years and always enjoy my stay.

We did not go touring around Bali as we had been there quite a few time previously, our intention on this trip was to relax, swim and read books (I read 8 in two weeks). If we did not want to eat our meals at the resort (which were very good quality and tasty) there are any Warungs and restaurants within close walking distance or they apparently will pick you up if you require, (which we didnt do) we only went out for a meal once as we could not fault the meals at the resort.
You can swim in the ocean at the resort which some other travelers did, but i found the resort pool more than adequate.
There is many shops along the main road to visit if required, including a mart to get supplies if required all within a short walking distance.

There's not too much to see in Candidasa itself, but if you have car or scooter, it's probably within short drive to nice beaches and some temples. From Padang Bai you can make scuba diving or snorkeling trips.

This is our 3rd time at Ramanyana Candidasa.
This is our 3rd time at Ramanyana Candidasa. We love how far away and peaceful the property is. Also like how friendly and helpful the staff are to make sure you have a great stay. All we did is rest, swim relax. This place is the best place to do so. We will definitely go back.

We choose this place because it is located about half way...
We choose this place because it is located about half way between Pura Lempuyang (PL) on the east and Pura Besakih (PB) on the west. And we stop over Sibetan Rice terrace with an excellent view of Mount Agung in clear sky after LP. We also visited Rice terrace near Camaya resort along the way to PB. Throughout the journey which past through small settlements and villages, there is an air of relax atmosphere with swaying Penjor lining the road and path. As it falls on Galungan festival day on 25.9.24, we met villagers that smile happily to offer prayers both in front of their house and also in temples. The only downside is the traffic is heavy during such festival when all the people goes back to their villages and home towns.

The sidewalks are hard to walk on and not maintained. There were a lot of restaurants and businesses. Beach access was almost non-existent where we stayed. I must say the “New Queen” restro had the best nasi goreng we have had to date. Staff there was great as well.

Bayshore Villas is an excellent property....
Bayshore Villas is an excellent property.... There is little to inspire you within walking distance of the property other than the Bintang Restaurant and Loaf Candidasa Cafe both of which are excellent. If it's a quiet relaxing time just doing very little then this is the place. Other than that Candidasa is uninspiring.

Amazing breakfast in my opinion the best in Bali. 9 or 10 breakfast options and everything is very beautiful and delicious. Very friendly staff. 2 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel organised a very exciting boat ride at dawn. There I saw glowing plankton. It was amazing. Special thanks to the gardener who takes care of the beautiful garden of the hotel, there are a lot of flowers.
The hotel’s view is second to none. Waking up to the ocean and the surrounding trees is a delight. The rooms are spacious and charming, plus the staff are welcoming and attentive. If you want to see the East of Bali, it’s the best place to base yourself . We will certainly be back!
Perfect place to stay with family. The pool, the ocean, the view was phenomenal. Not to crowded. The staffs very friendly and professional. The best hotel experience so far in Bali.
