Excellent location in a great island, in the core of Raja Ampat Islands Staff guides you very well, since you arrive Sorong Airport, through ferry in Waisai till arrving the lodge Different activities available: diving (main one), kayaking and visiting other islands. I really wanted to visit the Wayag - usually a min 3 people trip. I was solo, but they arranged a small boat for me Food is very good. Staff is very friendly and resourceful to help you in anything you need

It was beautifully maintained and so clean. Beds were very comfortable and views from the room were amazing. It honestly is so much nicer than it even looks in photos. The house reef is incredible to snorkel at - clown fish right outside your patio at high tide. Banana fritters delivered to you every afternoon around 4-5. Power (and fan) all night. Bathrooms kept clean and were “comfortable” to use :) they had some great snorkel tours offered - we enjoyed the Mansuar tour (4-5 snorkel stops + sandbar and was a half day) & gam tour (a few snorkel spots, some amazing “passages”, and mangroves… this was a full day tour and we travelled all around gam). The dog (Goldie <3 ) is the sweetest thing - we would leave water out for her and feed her our scrap chicken and fish. She didn’t beg but was so grateful for everything (she had 5 puppies at the time we were there & was still breastfeeding her pups)

Unbelievable location. Great house reef. Very delicious food. Beautiful bungalows with surreal views. A smaller resort with all you could ask for from a large resort but in a more personal setting. Only sounds of the jungle and a beautiful sunrise for your morning coffee. The property is entirely solar powered making it peaceful without the sounds of generators. My wife and I stayed in one over the water bungalow and my two adult sons stayed in the other. The Milky Way was visible at night as were occasional bioluminescence off our deck. Snorkeling the house reef as well as guided excursions for the day will be like nothing you can possibly imagine. Andy and Esni are very helpful hosts, and the staff are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend scheduling a snorkel tour with Esni. She will be your personal guide with her very capable boat crew and take you to see some of the most mind blowing snorkeling destinations on the planet. She will help you get the most from your experience. The snorkeling allows for general independence of experience as you snorkel at your own pace. It won’t take long though to see the benefits of being within eyesight of your guide Esni. She has a very keen eye for aquatic life you could easily miss otherwise. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us. Worth all the long travel. Jeff (USA)

Amazing bungalows, in the best reef of Fan island, I strongly recommend to everyone!

This was our first homestay, so we had not experienced this type of accommodation. We are older and independent travelers. It was very simple but adequate. The bungalow was waterfront and the construction was of natural materials. The bed was off the floor. The food was good and varied. All meals had a vegetable/fruit/protein/starch. The grilled fish was amazing. Water is provided in your room. Nelly did a load of wash and used the soap I provided as requested. It turned out great! It has a tankless toilet as is the custom in many places here. We got a little glimpse into village life. The house reef was really great, with little current. Access to great snorkel sites is easy. There is a gentleman who sells beer and snacks by the dive shop which was a nice addition to this simple operation. Will, the dive master, speaks great english. He would arrange for snorkel/dive trips with local boatmen. He made sure that the requested snorkel site was safe from current action. Once you requested a dive site, he put it on the whiteboard and others could join in if desired by both parties. Then the cost of the boat was split amongst the individuals. Good value. We didn't request a guide so not sure if that is an option. We had a raging storm and were snug and dry. They staff picks up soiled waste baskets if you put them on the from porch. They will refill your water jug this way as well. Electricity is on from 7pm-midnight and the fan worked well then. As per advise from trip advisor forum, we brought a little 4 inch fan and attached it to our battery pack, put it on the foot of the bed and were quite comfortable. Towels are provided. There was help with our luggage which was much appreciated. They picked us up from our previous lodging by boat. They were on time and the communication regarding this was very good.
