Komiza Provita Guesthouse was excellent, close to the centre and the beach. The room was extremly clean and it had everything we needed. Will definitely come back again. The host Tonio and his mum were great hosts, they gave us all the important infos. Tonio let us use the parking after the check out and even when I woke him up from the nap, he brought the card for the parking. Big reccomendation!

The apartment is a hidden gem inside another beautiful place - the town of Komiza. The location is perfect, 10 steps away from the habour with a lot of restaurants, bakeries and cafes around. The apartment is furnished with anything a traveller might need (a well-supplied kitchen, a washing machine, fast internet and etc.). Andrea was very helpful and accommodating. We arrived late and she was there waiting for us, and always ready to help with anything we need.

We received a lovely warm welcome from our host Miro, who was so friendly and helpful, coming to meet us directly from the bus to escort us to the apartment which was a lovely touch. He also gave excellent recommendations and local info. And was on hand for anything we needed for the duration of our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful villa in the old city. The house has everything and it's very comfortable for 8 people but it would also fit 10.

Konica is a small seaside village in a beautiful location we found it to be quite and peaceful during the daytime only becoming busy during the evening when folk are out to eat etc. Having said that there is no banging nightlife as such so if say you are looking for nothing more than peace and quiet you'll love Komiza.

A quaint little town on the west side of Vis Island, reachable by bus. The pier is nice with great restaurants and lovey beaches nearby. Plenty of tourist agencies to organise your activities. I recommend Pizzeria Charlie in Komiza!! We went there to eat twice and the food, the staff, and the service were 10/10

Beautiful town, loved wandering the small alleys and greeting the local cats(which all looked healthy and taken care of!). Loved Lucica and Gusarica beaches right in the town and if you are up for a hike, Plaža Barjoska beach was lovely too. We didn't do any of the tours from Komiza as we were saving money, and still had a fantastic time. Enjoyed eating at Fabrika (they have plenty of Vegan and Vegetarian options) otherwise was a bit disappointed in the other restaurants. Easy to get to Vis port by bus to then catch the ferry to Split or Hvar (look out for dolphins!).

Fantastic little old town on a mysterious and stunning island of Vis. It is best for families and couples that want to chill and enjoy many small beaches, few bars and few restaurants. It is also great for nature lovers as there are many hiking opportunities, nudist beaches, biking trails, diving, and so on.

Very nice place for holiday, nice restaurants.
Very nice place for holiday, nice restaurants. I recommend lunch at Konoba Koluna. Try komiška pogača (traditional fast food dish) at Tajer. Try nice traditional wine - Plavac or Vugava. Also recommend Amesboat trip to the Biševo island and climbing to the Hum peak.

I have been going to Komiza for 20+ years of and on as a child and now with my own kids. I would highly recommend it to anyone , specially families with kids. It has great beaches. It can get crowded because it has now been discovered by the world ( Mama Mia movie ) and everyone wants to vacation here.
The only thing that bothered me was the large yats that are parked everywhere which does take away from the feeling you are in a small fishing village in Dalmatia and makes it more of a vacation "hot spot" .
At the end, the beauty of Komiza makes it all worthwhile.
Ana is a lovely host and has developed a wonderful self contained studio in Komiza. We loved our stay there, the flat was clean and well maintained, Ana gave good info prior to our arrival about how to find the flat- the flat is in a great location and was a perfect base for us to explore Komiza from.
Our host was very accommodating and helpful for us during our entire visit. She communicated proactively and was able to help us find our way to Komiza from Split.
She provided us with helpful suggestions and tips during the rest of our stay.
It is a beautiful traditional house on a great location. Very private but also close to nice beaches and Komiza. The host is an amazing lady who gave us some home made liquor as a welcome gift. I would definitely come back again!
Incredible terrace overlooking the sea, the beach, and the town of Komiza.
The host is very kind and always available to help.
Great restaurants nearby. I truly hope I am going to be back :)
the view is absolutely amazing and the location, even though is a bus ride away from the Center of Vis, is perfect to connect with the island culture and its nature
