Situated on Vis Island in the small fishing village of Komiza in a bay is the Komiza Provita Guesthouse. It offers air-conditioned, bright studio apartments in a stone-built guesthouse.

We booked 3 separate rooms for 3 couples, they are all located in the same building and each has access to the terrace which has a beautiful view. The rooms were clean, equipped with a small well-equipped kitchen. The bed were super comfortable, the bathroom spacious. The host was always available and ready to solve any problem, it was definitely a delightful stay!

It’s our second time staying here, we love it! The host is friendly, the location great, parking is free, beds are comfy and apartment is hyper equipped (including laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, etc.).
Boasting mountain views, Country House Speedy features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 10 km from Srebrna Bay.

We stayed two nights only and then regretted so much that we booked for such a short period; at least we are sure we will be back. The owners, Lidiija and Niko are so nice and helpful. It’s clear they made everything how they wanted for themselves. The kitchen is very well equipped, huge sink, pots and pans, even olive oil and a lot of spices, everything you need for any meal. The bedroom was small but personally we loved it and slept great. In reality it’s a lot more beautiful than what you see in the pictures. Actually there were a lot of upgrades they did, even outside there’s a new comfy couch and a new table.
Most of all we enjoyed the privacy and silence and we respect what the owners did with the the place. Bravo!

Stunning part of the world. We did the hike over the hill to Beraski Beach location for a few scenes in The Mamma Mia 2 movie.Werll worth it as scenery unreal but not for those who struggle with incline or decline!!1.20hrs moderate paced walk there and back with the most beautiful crystal clear water to swim in and shady places to chill and have refreshments if you brought any!!Huge choice of great restaurants in Komiza and lots of excursions by boat to suit everyone’s budget.Food reasonable and wine delicious!!!

Komiza is a lovely town with a great seaside getaway vibe.
Komiza is a lovely town with a great seaside getaway vibe. It's only 15 minutes from Vis Town and it's a bit more lively and definitely much more beautiful. They have the best tour operator on the island called Ames – a lovely couple who organise amazing boat trips round the island and cook exquisite food using locally sourced produce. Surprisingly, there are no ridiculously overpriced tourist traps and people are really lovely. Do yourself a favour and go there.

Konica is a small seaside village in a beautiful location we found it to be quite and peaceful during the daytime only becoming busy during the evening when folk are out to eat etc. Having said that there is no banging nightlife as such so if say you are looking for nothing more than peace and quiet you'll love Komiza.

A quaint little town on the west side of Vis Island, reachable by bus. The pier is nice with great restaurants and lovey beaches nearby. Plenty of tourist agencies to organise your activities. I recommend Pizzeria Charlie in Komiza!! We went there to eat twice and the food, the staff, and the service were 10/10

Beautiful town, loved wandering the small alleys and greeting the local cats(which all looked healthy and taken care of!). Loved Lucica and Gusarica beaches right in the town and if you are up for a hike, Plaža Barjoska beach was lovely too. We didn't do any of the tours from Komiza as we were saving money, and still had a fantastic time. Enjoyed eating at Fabrika (they have plenty of Vegan and Vegetarian options) otherwise was a bit disappointed in the other restaurants. Easy to get to Vis port by bus to then catch the ferry to Split or Hvar (look out for dolphins!).

Mila’s appartment had everything we needed to explore Vis: a perfect location - just a step away from the beaches, bars, restaurants, bus.. everything was super clean, comfortable bed, fresh towels, wifi, air conditioning, hair dryer (!) and a lovely detail of welcoming rakija. we will definitely come back!
also a super easy key pick up and fast communication with the owner.
We loved everything; the wonderful view over Komiža and the Adriatic, the spacious and clean room and most of all, our host Linda was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. Vis and Komiža are great for a relaxed vacation on the beach or you can explore the island and participate in different outdoor activities. We did both during our stay :)
The host Tonio provided excellent service. He is very friendly and kind, and nothing was too much trouble for him.
The location; Right in Komiza. Shops, restaurants, cafes, bakery, fish market, etc. are within a couple of minutes walk. The beach is about 100 meters away.
The Unbeatable view of the ocean, from every angle.
Everything. The location is perfect, in the centre oc everything. Dante waited for us at the bus stop late at night and he walked us to the flat. Komiza is a lovely place to visit and the flat made is even more better. I totally recommend it.
Everything was fantastic. The rooms were large, clean, and well-equipped. The location is great, situated right in the center of Komiža by the port. The owner is very nice and helpful.
