A nice city, with plenty of beaches nearby, some of them with blue flag. At 3 km away, there are some beautiful beaches, with shallow water, perfect for childrens. Quite a lot places to eat, some of them on the beach front, others a little bit hidden between city. I discovered, and I strongly recomand to try "Neza's fish house", where I eat the best fish and seafood. Kavala is a nice city nearby, with historical sites, worth to visit.
What is not so nice is the fact that are very few parking places.

Not a party town and good for families.
Beach sand not generally suitable for sandcastles because the particles are too large but it gets in less places and brushes off easily.
Beaches generally shallow and good for small kids. Small waves most of the time unless the wind is in the wrong direction

The apartment is perfect for a vacation by the sea. Location is near the beach, we are with a 2 year old and we had no trouble to go and leave the beach by walking. The apartment is really comfortable and clean.

Ammolofoi beach area is convenient with around 10 organized beach facilities with restaurants and bars. Nea Peramos is a small vacation town with 4-5 quality restaurants and several fast foods. Basic shopping is available including pharmacies and supermarkets.

It is a small seaside village.
It is a small seaside village. Unfortunately during my stay it was rainy so I could not explore the area and facilities much. It is not noisy, may be because the season had not started yet. ( I was there around10th of June) .The have a good bakery and a good sweets shop.

Nea Peramos – not overcrowded, yet plenty to do. The nearby Ammolofi Beach with its plenty beach bars (Blue Beach Bar was my favorite) is great for social experience and there are also lots of small, more quiet beaches if you seek to rest.

Even though she cannot speak English, Miss Toto is a very good host. very polite and very helpful. We had to leave early and although we did not request a refund, he offered us a wonderful breakfast. The location of the facility is great, right next to it is the best restaurant in the region. bathrooms are a bit old. Hygiene is not at hotel level, but it is okay
The location is perfect! Nearby all the good beaches and great restaurants.
Also really close to Nea Peramos (about 7-8 min. drive).
The house is with private parking and big garden.

Perfect spot in Nea Peramos, right on the beach. Comfy flat, nice beds, good shower. Walking distance to everything in the town and right on the beach side. Really nice little patio to sit on outside.
