The hotel is very close to the beach, but the sea was not perfect, but if you have a car, you can go to better beaches nearby. Every detail was considered in the room, its so clean we liked it very much, the only flaw was that there was no breakfast but you may solved it at the famous pastry shop with a 5-minute walk away.There are 2-3 taverna's next to the beach and they are not expensive but also delicious..

Where good location, right in front of beach, just across the rod. There are several restaurants in walking distance, and small markets close by. Ovearl very good impression.
Probably a nice place, but during the Summer. November is a month where people are not seen, no restaurants, nothing to do. Closest thing to do and enjoy the stay, is to go to Kavala, which have a lot to offer and see.

Nea Karvali is a small town with few shops and no nightlife, but everything is walking distance away and it's a great place for a small group of people to enjoy themselves or take a break from the loudness of the big city. The beach is small, but it's enough to enjoy.

Nea Karvali does not feel like a holiday location - there is no walk alley along the sea, peppered with cafes / restaurants, there are very limited shopping options, the food stores are rather outdated, so we were going often to Kavala for quality food & veggies/fruits, coffee & eating out.
We stayed close to the kids playground near the sea, and this in the evening was turning into gathering spot for the local teens - playing sport or driving motorbikes or simply talking loudly. Unfortunately, this was right opposite our apartment, so we could not fall asleep till after midnight - rather unpleasant for such a quiet location.
