Kallos Imar Boutique Hotel, Mesaria, Santorini. When visiting Santorini, especially with groups of more than two, I recommend avoiding Oia and Fira. Opt instead for Mesaria, centrally located on the island, where you'll find this outstanding hotel. Designed and built by its owner-architect, the property showcases beautiful architecture and thoughtful design. Luxurious amenities, impeccable cleanliness, and comfort are hallmarks of this hotel. Be sure to include breakfast in your package for an exceptional culinary experience. The in-house restaurant and bar offer excellent fare and craft cocktails at sensible prices. The staff, however, are the crowning glory: warm, professional, and obliging. Our group of four couples universally praised our stay.
Located in Mesaria, a 19-minute walk from Karterados Beach, Marvarit Suites has accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The facilities are exceptionally clean and it is a very quiet place, which we enjoyed the most. Away from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close. The location is right in the middle of the island, so half in both ways which makes it very convenient.
Close proximity to the airport and assistance with pickup and drop off. Daily cleaning and excellent breakfast with good variety.
Best of all - the staff and their clear and timely communication. Special thanks to Seila who was always there for us, responding to messages before our arrival and keeping us at ease.

The Nous hotel was an amazing hotel base. Easy to travel to anywhere on the island by public bus which was a very cost effective and enjoyable way to explore all parts of the island. Mesaria is 5-10 min bus ride from Fira the capital and 25 mins from Oia. Arkrotiri was a quiet and beautiful unspoilt location worth a visit to see the museum and red beach. Kamari and perisa both also worth a visit for the black beaches nd relaxed vibe.

Messaria is a busy village, situated between the airport & Fira. There are good local bus connections, good restaurants & a fabulous traditional bakery & other supermarkets. There are also some attractive old buildings & domed churches. There is a sea view from some parts of Messaria. It is quite a busy, urban environment.

A quiet area. Locals live here. Very friendly area.
A quiet area. Locals live here. Very friendly area. Local restaurants are very good and prices are low with huge portions. Definitely a change from Oia. A bit of a walk to bus stop and busses/stops are a bit tricky to navigate.

We were delighted with Emmantina and our hosts Tina and Emmanuel. They did everything possible to make our first visit to Santorini and their home absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean wonderful food and the warmest welcome you could have. Located in a quiet village half way between the airport and the port it is perfect. They arranged our transfers and organised a private tour of their beautiful island. They even took us up to their local winery where we could enjoy a glass of their local sparkling wine as we watched the very beautiful sunset. So romantic! Perfect hosts and a delightful bed and breakfast stay.

Mesaria is a very small 'crossroads' town with the main road being very busy with traffic especially large trucks.
There are some lovely local restaurants which serve good food at reasonable prices and two supermarkets. A good bakery sells miniature ice-creams that are very welcome in the heat and there is a small souvenir shop.
Some of the facilities could benefit from refurbishment, but the hotel is great value, for Santorini.
Good location, well connected by bus to various places around the island, and 30-min walk to the airport which is doable (if you don't have a car and want to avoid extortionate Santorini transfers).
Beautiful property, super close to the airport so this was great for my first night stay in Santorini so I didn’t have to travel far. Free airport pick up. Hotel is stunning with beautiful pool with lots of sun. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The place was clean, very confortable with a kitchen, a big bathroom .I love the place in the village of Messaria.Very quiet and close to the best attactions.
I strongly recommend this place because you can feel the authenticity of Santorini.
There are no words to explain the welcome and kindness of Monika and Spyros. The villa is just great, with a jacuzzi overlooking Fira and the sea. If we ever go back to Santorini, we'll use the same villa again!
