We are a young couple in our 20s from Manchester searching for a gorgeous romantic holiday stay for our first holiday together. This is the best place I have ever stayed in; we were blown away by this place on arrival. The villa was gorgeous. We had a villa with a private pool, balcony, kitchen and bathroom; every morning, you received a magnificent breakfast tray to your door (freshly cooked) with maids coming in daily to clean. The owners of the place are a son and father; honestly, they were the most welcoming pair ever. On arrival, they mapped out the island and recommended local places, the best restaurants, and the activities you can do here, and they organised taxis for us. The complex is made of 10 villas but is very calm and chilled, where you barely see any other guests, even in the main pool. This place made our trip to Santorini feel like a dream! It is so aesthetically pleasing, and the level of detail and design of the place is incredible! It is super clean, 5 minutes from the airport, and the food at the villa is gorgeous.
Thank you so much for a gorgeous stay; we will return! We would 100% recommend booking a villa with a private pool. It is WORTH IT!
Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

We were delighted with Emmantina and our hosts Tina and Emmanuel. They did everything possible to make our first visit to Santorini and their home absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean wonderful food and the warmest welcome you could have. Located in a quiet village half way between the airport and the port it is perfect. They arranged our transfers and organised a private tour of their beautiful island. They even took us up to their local winery where we could enjoy a glass of their local sparkling wine as we watched the very beautiful sunset. So romantic! Perfect hosts and a delightful bed and breakfast stay.

Mesaria is a very small 'crossroads' town with the main road being very busy with traffic especially large trucks.
There are some lovely local restaurants which serve good food at reasonable prices and two supermarkets. A good bakery sells miniature ice-creams that are very welcome in the heat and there is a small souvenir shop.

We loved the Galini restaurant and left their business card in the apartment. It is only 5 minutes by car and we went there 4 times, each time great food, huge portions, fast service, soft Greek music and next to a pretty pebble beach. Mostly Greek customers it seems though English menu available. All the seafood dishes are heavenly ! Mixed grill of seafood for two is amazing value. See 2 pictures of Galini.

The town was in a fairly rural area and seemed to be inhabited by locals more than tourists which was exactly what we wanted for our trip. All the shops you could need are within a short walk (although be prepared to walk up and down some steep inclines).
I strongly recommend finding Vothonaki Café/Meze/Bar, very friendly staff with very good English (And very happy to hear you attempting Greek) and can help recommend tours and activities and such. Some of the best food we had all week.

For a first visit to Santorini i feel I should have chosen Fira to be close to everything. The bus to our accomodation drops us about 10 min walk from the house and it is quite a walk.... If you rent a quad that won t be an issue though.
The villas are well-designed and the level of comfort is insane. It's within walking distance from many local cafes and bakeries, a market, and the street in front of the apartments leads everywhere from Fira to Imerovigli and Oia in just 15 minutes of driving.
The villas are fully organized with home appliances and everything someone needs during vacation days. For me as a local that travels a lot on the islands, it is a hidden gem of Santorini. Recommended!
Thank for everything
The staff here are amazing. Very knowledgeable about places to eat and local attractions.
Originally my partner and I planned to walk/ bus around Santorini, however we quickly learned this was not a wise idea (lack of footpaths (normally sharing road with cars). On our first night discussed with host and he organised a moped/ bike for our trip, which was delivered and collected from the hotel and the price was better than most other rentals.
Beautiful traditional Greek cave villa in a quiet village - Messaria. Experience of staying in an authentic Greek village and villa. This property is situated in the center of Santorini with the beautiful shopping and dining area, Fira, just a 7 mins drive and the awesome Kamari beach less than 10 mins drive,
The breakfast was very good, and served at the time we wanted. The accommodation was very charming, and a great way to discover a bit of the true Santorini.
