The food was just "ok"
Music too loud around pool on a constant loop of same songs So we ended up going to beach every day and then it means the all inclusive charge is expensive as not using it.. Eventually the staff became friendlier but it can take effort so I would say just be over nice to them, and they start smiling.
Located 450 metres away from Kalamaki Beach, famous for the Caretta Caretta turtles, Macedonia has a big, well-kept garden with swimming pool and a snack bar.

The staff couldn't help us more. The location was great, being in Kalamaki you are equal distance to both Zante Town & Laganas. Kalamaki itself has a restaurant and bar strip that is a short walk from the hotel which is great. The hotel provide all the amenities (beach towels regularly, so helpful!). 5 minute drive from the airport. Couldn't fault it!

We loved the private pool with the comfortable sunbeds, the bed was comfortable and big, room was very clean, they allowed us early check in and they have prepared a honeymoo present for us. Staff was very accomodating and friendly and gave suggestion about which areas/restaurants worth visiting. There is also a thermal pool and spa treatments and they were very good.

Our hotel is not exposed on the main road, hence it is quite calm. But on the strip, how is the main road sometimes called, you can find anything you need for a pleasant stay. A lot of great tavernas, bars, supermarkets, and big giftshop with anything you might need to buy as a present for your friends back home. Despite a number of restaurants, the location is quite calm, with no drunk or aggressive ppl around.

Lots of lovely restaurants and bars, been a couple of times and still loads left to visit. Ideal for those who prefer a quieter resort but with plenty to do. Can recommend Iguana bar, Olive Tree restaurant and Bullhorn restaurant.

Kalamaki centre is based mostly around a single wide road lined with a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, tourist shops, car rentals and tour operators. There are a few beaches to choose from, all of which face into Laganas Bay with clean water and good views.
During our stay we ate at a number of restaurants. Among these I particularly recommend the Pandesia restaurant for its friendly staff and theatrical food presentations, Buon Amici for its excellent house wines and food (Italian), and the Olive Tree.
The hosts were so welcoming. They would go out of their way to help out, including giving us lifts into town, and they treated us like family. The accommodation is well located between Zakynthos Town and Kalamaki away from the noise but that does mean a car is essential. The pool was great for cooling off and the number of rooms is fairly low so you never felt like the pool area was overcrowded. We'll definitely be back
The hospitability of the owner is just extraordinary. The location of the apartment is very good. It is close to one of the best restaurants in Kalamaki so you don't need to worry about cooking. The area is quite calm and close enough to different services like car rentals, souvenir shops, bus stop etc. Also the cleaning of the apartment is very frequent which is very useful if you decide to stay longer.
