We had a wonderful stay. The host was extremely helpful and accomodating. The room was very well equipped and she provided us with some basic necessities (tea, coffee, etc.). Location was great only 2 minutes from finikas port and less than a minute from the local bakery. Supermarket was also less than 2 minutes walking. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and clean with wonderful hosts and a perfect location for our purposes. Close to anything we could need for a relaxing stay. Ended up moving from another place that we thought was nicer but was just more expensive for much of the same experience.

Full marks and bravo to owners and staff of Aktaion hotel! Location was superb right on the waterfront of Ermoupolis many rooms enjoy unlimited sea views of bay and the hills above making it a postcard perfect location. This is a very historic aristocratic mansion kept in excellent condition a perfect blend of traditional style with modern facilities and comforts.
Professional staff very knowledgeable with spot on recommendations for sightseeing restaurants and more, truly every advise was with no doubt excellent!
Breakfast was very generous, very tasty large portions and great variety of choices.
Excellent location service and atmosphere will be back for sure!

Location is great, Finikas is about 500m away with an easy stroll where you can get supplies from the supermarket and good local restaurants and bakery. The room had a balcony facing the sea, separate dining area and kitchen. Good sized bathroom and bedroom. Pool was great for an end of day dip. Bus was 200m away and took us to town or any of the other beaches we wanted to visit. Staff were great, it was a nice relaxing place to stay at
A wonderful, peaceful setting close by the sea in well tended gardens - a kilometre outside Finikas port and village but easily walkable. A spacious and very comfortable studio. Kind hosts. Manos even took us to the supermarket on arrival as we did not have a car. Lovely cake on the first day. The place was meticulously cleaned every day. Buses available to tour the island from the village. Good restaurants in the village.
The hospitality was great! The owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The rooms were clean, recently refurbished and very accommodating. They also let us stay in the room for as long as we wanted, instead of checking out at 11:00am. I highly recommend Petra Lodge for anyone visiting Syros and will definitely stay there again.
Great location, excellent staff - particularly on reception, very clean, well maintained, traditional style hotel. Spacious rooms, slightly dated but that adds to the charm. Best part of beach literally opposite the hotel.
