I liked the peiple, the property was ultra modern and very cosy. The hosts were so friendly and really just a nice experience. Restaurants close by walking and a market. 2 lakes and 2 beaches not to miss. Sunsets are amazing there.

Modern facilities with a near by shop. We loved how friendly everyone was here. We felt like a part of community. Amazing people! We miss them dearly.
Beautiful clear waters, mountains on one side, turquoise water on the other one.
Featuring an a la carte restaurant, Elafonisi Resort by Kalomirakis Family is set amid a garden with olive trees.

We loved Elafonisi resort! The room was beautiful and clean and the closest you can get to walking to the beach. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Would stay here again!

The staff at kochilas was friendly and accommodating! The rooms are quaint and small but it's no problem because if you're booking a room near elafonisi beach, you probably will spend all of your time at the beach! I'd also recommend visiting white lake too.
Set 1.6 mi from Stómio Beach, Villa Evenos - Irida Country House with private pools offers free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views of the countryside and air-conditioned...

Amazing location! 👌👌 The villa has a lovely design and comes with a great terrace. Fantastic views, we really loved staying there. Maria was a great host, recommending to everyone.
Elafonisi is the most overrated beach in Crete.
Super crowded. The sand is not pink. It's a normal sand. The beach resorts are expensive, usually they are full and the chairs are attached. On top of that, you need to walk 20 minutes to reach the sea.

Breathtaking natural lagoon which everyone is coming to enjoy. Get here before the buses arrive at 10 am or come after 4pm when buses leave otherwise I think it is too crowded. Consider staying overnight at Lafo Rooms.

Elafonisi Beach, with its unique pink sand, is undeniably stunning. However, during the day it can become extremely crowded, making it challenging to find sunbeds. Nevertheless, as the day transitions into evening, the beach becomes quiet, serene, and free from crowds, allowing you to fully appreciate its true beauty, especially during the magical moments just before sunset.

What a ZOO!!!
What a ZOO!!! It’s mid October and the place is still super crowded. Cannot even begin to imagine the crowds in July or August.
Crowds aside… it is an amazing place… beautiful, clear water.. great for young families. One can find a bit of privacy across the water on the spot.

A truly beautiful beach, the nicest I have visited in Crete...
A truly beautiful beach, the nicest I have visited in Crete so far. It is also a very valuable and protected natural site. The beach offers a very varied environment. There is classic seating on the shore under umbrellas and bars. Towards the sea you can enjoy the shallow beach and the sea waves. On the other side there is a quiet shallow lagoon with several islets and a sand spit connecting the coast with the island of Elafonisi. The lagoon is just a paddle away. If you go further, the other side of the island is again washed by the sea and there is also quite a nice snorkeling environment. Because of the size and ruggedness of the place, you can easily find a space for yourself. But there are a lot of people. There is little shade on the spot, so the more experienced ones will occupy the better spots first thing in the morning. It's good to have something to protect you from the sun. You have to go back to the beginning for drinks and toilets, so count on that. Plenty of space to park on site, just the last stretch is not a groomed road so watch your tyres.
The apartment is super clean and has all the facilities and equipment. It feels like home. We have booked a room with big terrace. The view of Monastery with sunset was amazing. The host couple is super nice and friendly. The location is also very great, 9min drive to the Elafonisi beach and serval restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We would definitely stay here again if we come back.
The best location in the area. Specifically if you go to Elafonisi Beach and other beaches in the area.
Maria and the team were amazing w information and extremely helpful w everything we needed and way beyond0, including late checkout. Highly recommended!
Though smaller than it seems from the pictures, very nice room, free parking, directly on the walking road to Elafonisi beach (10 minutes on foot), very kind guy at the reception who speaks perfect English, nice veranda
We had an upper room at the front of the property with a beautiful view to the coastline.
About a 5-10 minute drive to Elafonisi Beach. Elena was the perfect hostess.
The beach is really near from the hotel. Bedroom are simple but it’s ok for one night.
Thanks to the owner who accepted to make us an earlier check in.
