My stay at Hotel Aurora was fantastic. The room was spacious but still very cozy, and the hotel provided all of the amenities that I needed for my stay. The location is a bit outside of the city center, but there are some lovely shops and restaurants just steps away from the hotel, and it was a short and easy walk to downtown (~15 mins). I would absolutely stay here again the next time I visit Nuuk.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Our room was large with great views and a comfortable bed. Location for us was great. It was a 10-15 minute walk from town which we preferred and a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. We ate at the restaurant a couple of nights and breakfast was simple but good too. The weather turned on our last day and we got stuck here for an extra two nights. Staff were understanding and accommodating. We won’t be returning to Nuuk but I would recommend Soma.
I had a cabin facing the ocean and I had four rooms that could house 8 for myself. As the weather in Nuuk was so awful during my stay at least staying in this location was like a retreat and watching the waves hit the rocks was like meditation.
The location of the hotel is too far away, the surrounding stone mountain is under construction, there are no restaurants in the vicinity of 200 meters, far away from the large shopping center NC, and the house is very beautiful near the sea
Good hotel, looks/feels new. Joanna at the front desk was fantastic. Breakfast was good. It is a 15mins walk to the city center from the hotel. Internet worked fine. Ambiance was cozy and welcoming.
