we had a lovely room that overlooked Windsor Castle and the main street so you could watch the changing of the guard from the windows but I went outside to watch. Yes, you need to walk down some long halls and a few steps up and down to get to the room but it is a quirky hotel. Room was very spacious as was bathroom though the towel warmer did not work (not a big deal). Our first night was cold in the room as we checked in late when we told the front desk the next morning, turns out they had forgotten to engage the heat in our room (again, not a big deal as it was corrected immediately) Breakfast buffet is huge and delicious. The hotel is perfectly situated to walk all of Windsor.
Welcome to The Royal Adelaide, an independent family owned boutique hotel in Windsor.

Really comfortable, quiet and cosy.
Good bar and restaurant area, good food.
Staff were really friendly.
We came with our dog , and were able to have our meals with the dog in the bar area.
Other things we liked: good water pressure , comfy beds.
Staff sent us an item home that we wanted had forgotten in the room at checkout day.
The location is also really handy for Windsor Castle, Eton and Town Centre. There is a park right by the hotel , and we could walk the dog there easily.
There is a car park at the back of the hotel , also 👍🏻
All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel .
Dating back to the early 16th century, The Christopher Hotel, Eton is located on Windsor's historic Eton High Street and offers contemporary accommodations with free internet access.

Windsor is a very interesting and cheerful town.
The castle is amazing, make time to visit. Bus services are very good if you want to travel further afield. Two stations for rail travel.
Pleasant coffee shops , eateries, bars and interesting and varied shops.
Walk the long walk, take a trip on the river, home to the beautiful swans.
The marching band of soldiers are a sight to behold.
Spacious parks for fun and exercise.
Not forgetting the historical Theatre Royal, excellent programme of events, drama, music etc.

Stunning old buildings, nice outdoor spaces and plenty of bars and restaurants to take a seat in. The Two Brewers is a great little pub. Can get busy as next to the Long Walk but worth a visit. Plenty of independent coffee shops in both Windsor and over the bridge in Eton.

Set in quiet location, (apart from the flights re Heathrow) but nothing you can do about that!
The grounds were well kept.
We liked the connecting rooms very much, being together as opposed to opposite ends of the hotel.
Staff very very pleasant and very helpful, arranging a taxi to take us to Windsor Castle.
The food in respect of breakfast was excellent, lots of choice.
Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean. Great bedding and towels. Superb location and an easy 10 minute walk for Windsor castle. Our room was large for the money and tastefully furnished and decorated. With breakfast and two drinks thrown in, this hotel is amazing value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Charming & historic. Windsor Castle is a captivating and unforgettable attraction. The staff at the hotel were really friendly. The room was clean, and the beds were comfy. The location is great. Shops and the train station are just a short walk away, very accessible.
